[@Arcanaut] It seems like it's coming along, I like the concept and if the group comes together it seems like he might make a candidate for the negotiator / face.  Once I post more about the magic I'm sure that will help you flesh that out as well. 

I'll say the same thing about the diametrically opposed society, which will come out more in the Ramsgate Dossier.  Your characters will have no real face to face contact with the high city Nobility, they are literally a world apart. Maybe small street Lords, Robber barons, gang and guild leaders in the low city but the High City is all but closed off for now.
