Delilah had been sobbing for less than five minutes when there was a knock in her door. Milli's sweet, concerned voice came through, asking if she could come in. Lila sat down on the bed, and wiped her tear-stained face with her hands. When she looked at her reflection in the mirror, she was almost at the verge of tears again. Her hair was disheveled, her eyeliner was smudged, and there were dark stains where the mascara had rolled down with her tears. "Great. Now I look absolutely drop-dead." Lila muttered to herself, her bottom lip sticking out. There was another knock at the door and Amelia's voice came through again, asking her if she could come in or if she wanted to be left alone." As much as she wanted to roll under the covers and ignore the world, Lila knew Milli didn't deserve that. She'd always been so sweet and caring to her, like the sister she never had. She should at least talk to Milli for a few minutes before going back to her room. "I'm coming!" Lila said feebly, getting out of bed and opening the door. There stood Milli, wrapped in what seemed to be a guy's blanket. And in a seat nearby Milli was... Hunter, with a half-empty bottle of champagne next to him and a stupid video camera on his lap. It suddenly dawned on Lila that maybe he'd recorded her little scene back at the restaurant, and he'd just come back for more. It made Lila more upset. "Yeah, Hunter, go ahead and get the best shot of me bawling my eyes out because of that idiot named Jareth!" she snarled, angrily walking past them to the kitchen island. She took out the foam container with her burger and fries from the bag and placed it on the counter. Just then, there was a knock on the suite door. Delilah opened it, to find the same doorman who'd helped her with her bags holding her milkshake. When he saw her face, he gave her a sweet smile and handed her the milkshake. "On the house," he said, nodding at her. Delilah whispered her thanks, eyes full of tears again at his kindness. "No problem. If you need anything else, just ask for Kenneth at the front desk. That's me. I'll make sure to be here as fast as I can." He gave her one last smile before closing the door and walking away. Delilah sobbed a little more. "Why can't Jareth be like that-" she pointed at the closed door where Kenneth had left. "With me?! Why can't he just love me!" she whined, taking a sip of her milkshake. She trudged back to the island and sat down, then turned to Milli and Hunter. "I've changed my plans. I'm going to stay in here and get as fat as I can until it's time to leave," Lila declared, taking a huge bite of her hamburger. When she and Jareth had broken up, Lila had used food as her comfort, and in a month had gained 30 pounds. She'd worked hard at the gym and keeping a healthy diet to reach the weight she was at now, but now that didn't matter. All she wanted was to stay in the room watching movies and eating junk food and sweets. "I'm not getting out of this suite until it's time to go."
