“Again, welcome to Caldwell’s Academy of Magical Talent. Everyone find a desk to sit at near the front, please. You are few students who are strong enough to make it through the Picture. You have a magic core that can make you great Wizards and even Mages in the future. Your Magic Core will be your main tool in this Academy. There are other tools that you will learn to use as well. You will become interesting people who will travel this new world and explore the other land masses. A few will stay home and be part of The Academy Island. I will need a Governor and an Archives Specialist to help me with my job. There will be more jobs as more students show up. Are there any questions that I may answer for anyone?” Lady Violetta asked knowing that there will be many questions floating through their heads but who will be brave enough to ask?
“I want to speak a bit on Magic and its uses. I want each of you to listen to this carefully. Magic is a tool that can be used for good or evil or anywhere in between. The magic user must be aware of what he or she is doing and why. There are consequences to using magic. Consequences can be devastating if the magic user is not aware of all of the effects of the magic that is being used. The magic user is only as strong as his or her body’s endurance of the physical and mental abilities. A) Physical Strength. The magic user is only as strong as his or herself. Magic takes a lot of stamina to do and the body will be drained constantly when the person uses magic. B) Mental Strength. The magic user must be able to concentrate well, visualize well and think clearly as well as quickly. To do this we need to meditate and do mental exercises to make the mind stronger. Meditation is crucial to one’s mental ability. This is the way one learns how to concentrate, block out unwanted noises, keep the mind clear of intrusions and to imagine the impossible. Knowledge. The magic user must be able not only use magic but know the 3 parts of magic. 1) What is the first part. The magic user must know and understand what he or she wants to do with his or her magic. 2) Next come How. The magic user must know each step of the magic well enough to actually be able to visualize the magic being done in each step until it becomes as simple and routine as breathing. 3) When is the last part. To cast magic the magic user must know when each step should take place. An example of this is putting your shoes on. What would be the need to put on shoes to protect your feet from anything that would do them harm or make them uncomfortable, ect. When would be like when you leave to go outside not before going to bed. How would be putting them on your feet before tying them and to have the socks on before you put the shoes. It would be good to tie the shoes, put them on then put on the socks would it?” Lady Violetta asked.

(See the Maps Section Above) “The Entrance Area has 3 rooms. The Infirmary, a spare office and my Office. The Front doors will allow you to come and go during certain times and since they are Sentient like the other doors, they will recognize your Aura. Each block of rooms is enclosed for a reason. The reason is for the protection of young pets that will be with you frequently throughout the day. “Lady Violetta began as she drew with her Basic Wand.

“As we came into the Castle, you saw a few rooms. There are 2 offices and an Infirmary. Each area is secured by a Sentient Pad that will recognize your Aura. More on the Auras later on. This area where we are will be where your main classes are located at. There are 2 classrooms, the Anatomy Room, Magical Exercise Room and this lecture hall. The area before this is where you will be eating. We will be eating family style most of the time but there will be times where we will have a buffet or occasionally a party. In the dining room is one long table. I sit at the head and all students on one side or the other, leaving the foot open in case there is another teacher among us. Food will appear on your table after I ring the bell then we shall eat together as a family style. In the next study area are the Independent Study Classrooms. For those who are taking Independent Study which will mean all of you will have at least one course in those rooms. The room that you will use will be the same as your room number. The Mythical Creatures and the beginning of Dragonology will be in the Lab. The testing lab is always closed and locked until the day of the testing. There are individual classrooms for personal independent study. Those classes will be discussed at a later time.” Lady Violetta spoke as she used her basic wand to make the map in the air. This is the bedroom floor and how your room will look like before you decorate it..... We will go to the Village and you may choose many new things for your room and yourself. More on The Village later. Your room is sentient as well and will recognize your Aura after you place your two hands on the handprints on the chosen door. Everything is in pale blue but later we shall go into town and pick out new things. You will have a list to fulfill and a specialized cart. The cart will have a special device that you will use to claim a cart. As you place the items in the cart, just scan them. It will highlight the items as you scan them. The aisles will be placed by each item on the list. If you want an item that is not on the list just type it in the search bar. Anything that is related to the item will show up. On this trip, I am allowing you to have extra items and money free. After this you will be given an allowance to use for your own things. You don’t even have to return the cart for it will belong to you. After you get back you will park the cart in a parking spot assigned to you by the Castle. That spot will send the cart to your room which is a small cart closet. Tomorrow, you may change the colors of your room and the way your furniture is placed via PLTs. That device is Sentient as well. I will tell you more of that in a bit. Non-Magical Floor is where we will do various classes that do not involve magic of any type. “On the roof is the greenhouse and Sky Study Lab. One is my personal greenhouse which you may look in the windows but since it does not allow anyone inside but me, you will not be allowed inside. I have a few experiments going on that might be interesting to you but they are dangerous. The other greenhouse will be used by students for Plantology.”

“If you look in the corner, you will find a stack of boxes. Please take one of boxes to your seat. Please do not open them until you are instructed to do so.” Lady Violetta spoke as she looked towards the boxes. “Inside each box are 4 smaller boxes. Please open the longest box first when you get to your seat. Each student will be given robes to protect themselves while in class. The robes are of the magical sort and will stay clean. In the next longest box is the Equipment Belt. The Equipment Belt is issued to each of you. Each belt will have two pouches and two slender tubes. One pouch will be used for your own snacks and the other one will be for snacks for your pet. One sleeve will be used for your wand and the other one will be a guide stick for your pet. Both you and your pet will be frequently hungry. You may eat in all classes except labs. The pets will be in your room during labs so that they will not get into the way. It might be dangerous for all of us if one happens to become scared for some reason.” Lady Violetta spoke as each student takes a box to his or her seat. The next box is the smallest box. It has a cell phone inside it. When you pick up the phone it will register your aura. It will become yours exclusively. The phone has my number in them. If you want to add someone to your call list, all you have to do is to touch the heads of the 2 phones and they will register each other as a friend. You may register each other at lunch. Before anyone asks- NO. No you cannot use it to talk to anyone on Earth because it will not reach that far. Remember that you are in a different Solar System than the Milky Way. Things here do not work the same way as it does on Earth. More on power sources later. (looks like a 5g cell phone) Now please open the last box. In it is a PLTS which is a Personal Laptop System or PLTs. Your Personal Laptop System or PLTs will be your most valuable tool. Lady Violetta's PLTs They are super sensitive to touch. In fact, believe it or not, these PLTs are sentient. That means that it can think and feel on its own. I want to have you to be the first ones to touch them barehanded and imprint your aura on your own laptop. After your initial Imprintation, the PLTs will only work for you. The case is opened from the front like so. When it is open, you will see the screen, the keyboard, and some new features. Keep the protective sheets on the areas when they are not being use will make your PLTs working at its peak. For the moment, please remove the two handprint sheets then place your hands on those two pads like the picture that was on there. Leave your hands on the pads so that the PLTs will register your unique Aura. After that is properly done, your PLTs will only allow you to enter information on it. You will know that it is done because it will begin to ask you a series of questions starting with your name, age, gender, likes and dislikes. (Actually done on your CS) You will have an independent study to fulfill called Mythical Creatures. And you will pick out your very own baby pet to study and care for. After you have filled out those questions, you may open the folder up called Mythical Creatureology. You will find all of the pets that you may have along with a short description.

“Now click on the folder that is called Mythical Creatures. Here you will look through the pet list to find a pet that interests you. After lunch we will go to town and you will be getting a pet of your own. I also have a list of items for you to purchase through your student account. Please choose wisely for you will need to be able to handle the pet for the rest of its life. They are sentient creatures. They will be either your friend or foe. You will have fun with them; have a lot of frustration, and work. Physical and paper workwise. In this book is an example of each creature and what is known about them. There are recommended tips to use. Each week you will turn in your paper work to me. However, we do not use paper here for normal work. Each of you a now have the specialized laptop. You homework will be on that laptop as well as your book will be in the case. You may look at the pets at lunch. All of these creatures are available to various students and some are just for staff alone. This is where you will get your information on the pets. Click on the blue colored words and it will take you to that particular page.

Your wand and PLTs are part of your equipment. You need to take care of both of them. You will have more equipment given to you as you take more classes. Here is the way that you should take care of your equipment. Keep all of your equipment clean in the proper manner. Store your equipment properly, whether it is in a storage closet, shelf, desk, book bag or in your equipment belt. If it happens to need mending, contact me. I will help you mend your equipment if it needs it. If you run out of the proper cleaner, contact me. Do not use the wrong cleaner or it may harm your equipment. You have a special cabinet to store your cleaning solutions in which is located in your own room. One last thing I want you to remember is that these items can only be used on MC- which is Magical Current, not AC which stands for Alternating Current or DC which is Direct Current. Any questions before we go to lunch?”

Made by The Creator ‘Found by’ The Creator Species: Avian Magical Affinity: Air, Fire Habitat: near heat sources such as volcanoes and deserts Food: fruits and nuts Life Span: 12 years How it bears its young: Egg How long does the young stay with the parent: Several Weeks NOTES: Brilliantly-plumaged birds of iridescent fire colors, firebirds eat only fruits and nuts. Their feathers are shades of red and orange. Firebirds give off false sparks along their tail at will, but when agitated (frightened or angered) they have a tendency to set things on fire. Firebirds are shy creatures that are easily frightened and therefore very dangerous. They are intelligent and flock together. They do not spit flames, but when upset they spark and set things aflame. A new bondbird stock was bred that is much calmer. It bonds with one person and forges a telepathic link. The bond bird stock is larger, and therefore heavier than wild firebirds. It has a proportionally larger brain as well. Bond birds communicate in simple thoughts and emotions usually, though some breeds are smarter than others. Depending on the strength of the link, a bond bird and it's bond mate can see through each other's eyes in a strange sort of double vision. This double vision will be disorienting and can cause nausea, but once you adjust and get used to it, it can prove helpful. Firebirds have long trailing tail feathers, and a delicate head and neck. Firebirds are rare. Suggested equipment: Egg sling, nesting box, cage, tall perch, ladders, bells, mirrors, rings, bird skates, boxes to put toys in (a hide and seek game) leash, cage cover, sandpaper perch, bird piano (will give out treats and can be set in a variety of ways), food dishes. Bling and shiney things are great gifts! Egg No one had ever seen a firebird egg until the first pair of firebirds were befriended and bonded. This pair is where the bond bird stock originally came from. Before, if one was very very lucky, one might find a piece of shell. The egg is an iridescent red flecked with gold. The inside is an iridescent cream color and resembles the outside of a pearl. The egg is about the size of a fist. Youngling As hatchlings their colors are of ash and embers. Little birds are ravenous and must be kept warm. When they are hungry they must be fed a sort of smoothy made of various nuts, and fruits. A few supplements of calcium may be needed. Birds will molt and new feathers will come in place. One must be careful with the feathers, unless a feather is imped in, a damaged feather may inhibit a bird's ability to fly. One must be careful of blood feathers which are the newly growing feather. The hollow center of the feather becomes a vein and is filled with blood as it's growing. If a blood feather is broken, the bird might bleed out and die. Adult A perch and a tray to catch droppings will be needed, even if a window is left opened to let the bird come and go freely. It is advised that, a small tray of grit be provided to help the bird with digestion. As adults, firebirds become much more dangerous.*

Made by The Creator ‘Found by’ The Creator Species: Singing Birds Magical Affinity: Air, Earth, Enchanting Habitat: trees in the wild usually in gardens or meadows or cages if a pet Food: seeds and fruit or smoothies made from bugs, fruit and seeds Life Span: 25 years or more How it bears its young: Egg How long does the young stay with the parent: 3 weeks in wild or hatched in a home as a pet NOTES: Lyre is the largest of the singing birds, growing up to 30- 35 inches long with 2 to 5 extra-long feathers which have pale eye markings on them. These birds can and often do figure out how to get out of their cages due to mostly boredom. They will learn how to sparkle which will light up a room and spark out which is how they disappear into thin air. No known way to stop them but each one will be tagged with a communication gem tag for retrieval. They may be left alone. The interesting things about these birds are that their songs have power. Their sparkle and sparking out is a noteworthy ability, and makes them useful as messenger birds, but these magic birds have another trick up their sleeves. Lyre's songs are captivating and enchanting like a charm. Lyre's song can effect emotions of those who are around it. Egg Lyre eggs are brown and black speckled eggs. Lyre eggs take four weeks to hatch. Never forget to keep them warm and turn them from time to time. Hatchlings Lyre hatchlings are brown and black colored. They have a strong curiosity in them which requires the owner to have plenty of toys to rotate in and out of its cage. As they grow they will need more room to stretch and exercise their wings. Adult Lyres are high flying birds with a beautiful voice that can enchant anyone around. The wings are wide and there are 5 to 7 long tail feathers that extend beyond the rest. These tail feathers are what attract the opposite gender in the mating ritual. Once the lyre is mated it stays mated for life. If one of the pair does die first, the other one will mourn its loss with a melancholy song. Most do not remate again but live alone for the rest of its life.

Made by The Creator ‘Found by’ The Creator Species: Singing Bird Magical Affinity: Air, Fire, Healing Habitat: Rain Forest Caves Food: Nuts, Fruits, Insects and Berries Life Span: Unknown How it bears its young: Egg How long does the young stay with the parent: 4 weeks in the wild Suggested equipment: Egg sling, nesting box, cage, tall perch, ladders, bells, mirrors, rings, bird skates, boxes to put toys in (a hide and seek game) leash, cage cover, sandpaper perch, bird piano (will give out treats and can be set in a variety of ways), food dishes. Bling and shiney things are great gifts! NOTES: The Phoenix is an extraordinary bird. When it mates, it for life of the pair and often times both will die about the same time. A legend says that when a Phoenix dies, it will self-combust then in the ashes is a new egg. No one has lived to actually see this happening yet but there is the first time for everything. Egg The egg is a bland tan color and very smooth. Hatchling Hatchling will be tan in color with black talons and orange beak. The hatchling will be curious and not want to leave your side. A sling is a perfect substitute nest when you are busy. Be sure to have a variety of toys with you. It would be best to have the toys attached to the sling so that when it is dropped, the toy can be easily retrieved. Have a large cage filled with a variety of activities for the hatchling to entertain itself when left alone. At this later stage, the hatchling will begin to be more independent and will also learn to ‘wink’, Adults The adult is brilliantly colored with shades of warm tones (oranges, reds and yellows) as a female or shades of cool tones (blues, greens and violets) as a male. Phoenix is a companion pet which means that it will want to be where you are most of the times. Phoenix will require a lot of attention and praise for learning new things. Be sure to get a lot of toys and a variety of toys so it won't get too bored. Even adults love to learn new things!

Made by Kangutso ‘Found by’ Kangutso on http://creativefreedomrpg.com/ Species: Avian Magical Affinity: Rain, Lightening, Thunder Habitat: Rain Forest Food: Bugs and Fruit Life Span: 10 years How it bears its young: Egg How long does the young stay with the parent: For a few weeks in the wild or hatched as a pet Suggested equipment: Egg sling, nesting box, cage, tall perch, ladders, bells, mirrors, rings, bird skates, boxes to put toys in (a hide and seek game) leash, cage cover, sandpaper perch, bird piano (will give out treats and can be set in a variety of ways), food dishes. Adult Raicho plumage is a cobalt blue with silver flecks when grown. The wings flap in such a way that the sound of them is like thunder. As it gets older Raicho can actually create static electricity which can make a rain cloud. Once the rain cloud is full of water from the flapping of the wings, it will begin to rain. The nickname of this bird is Rain Bird.

Made by The Creator ‘Found by’ The Creator Species: singing bird Magical Affinity: Air, Earth, Illumination, Mimicry, Ventriloquist Habitat: cliffs in the wild, cages as a pet Food: fruit and seeds Life Span: 25 years or more How it bears its young: Egg How long does the young stay with the parent: 3 weeks in the wild or hatched in a home as a pet Suggested equipment: Egg sling, nesting box, cage, tall perch, ladders, bells, mirrors, rings, bird skates, boxes to put toys in (a hide and seek game) leash, cage cover, sandpaper perch, bird piano (will give out treats and can be set in a variety of ways), food dishes. Bling and shiney things are great gifts! These birds love to do tricks. NOTES These birds can and often do figure out how to get out of their cages due to mostly boredom. They will learn how to sparkle which will light up a room and spark out which is how they disappear into thin air. No known way to stop them but each one will be tagged with a communication gem tag for retrieval. They may be left alone. Parrots are about 17" long. The interesting things about these birds are that their songs have power. Their sparkle and sparking out is a noteworthy ability, and makes them useful as messenger birds, but these magic birds have another trick up their sleeves. Parrot songs affect chosen targets such as enemies with effects like slow or weakened spells. Egg Parrot eggs are white speckled with brown or black. Parrot eggs take three weeks to hatch. Never forget to keep them warm and turn them from time to time. Hatchlings Parrot hatchlings tend to a dull gray color and slowly the feathers come in with brilliant colors of the rainbow and then some. At this stage, they need to be kept busy with a large cage and plenty of things to play with including bird skates and ladders. Toys may be put in boxes for further a game of hide and seek. Adults They have a strong beak and can easily take a piece out of your hand if they wish to. They live around cliffs in the wild, but a cubbyhole on your wall will do just as well. They will continue using the cage and the toys when they are bored or just to show off. These birds are fliers. Parrots eat seeds and fruits.

Made by xXSINXx Species: Avian Magical Affinity: Darkness Habitat: Dark trees, caves, and abandoned buildings. Food: Mice, Fruit, Nightshade, and herbal citrus water. Life Span: 15 Years How it bears its young: Egg How long does the young stay with the parent: 10 weeks NOTES: One of the most if not the most intelligent birds in its class, the Shadow Crow are a mysterious species that have been known to "Spy" on prey or so the legend goes. As a hatchling, the crow gains sight. During the growing into a young aviator, the crow studies the darkness surrounding it. Since sight was the first sense the inherited, it's best for the Shadow Crow to be raised in the dark, for the lights can easily harm their eyes. As the crow begins to get stronger, the mother feeds it fruits, mice, and nightshade. The nightshade is what gives these crows the ability to form into a mist-like shadow of their former self. As the Shadow Crow comes into adulthood, its mind has become the strongest thing in its entire body. The crow then realizes that its brethren are experiencing the same issue, Freedom. As the cycle goes, the Shadow Crow kill their parent using their power against her. The Crow then go their separate ways, most of them finding their own homes, but the more talented few choose to "Imprint" themselves on humans they deem worthy. If taken in by a human, the crow becomes loyal and learns to respond to names, sounds and if you’re talented sign language. Shadow Crow (The Shadow Crow has the ability to become somewhat invisible, during this state the bird has to either wait for an opening to attack or just simply watch their prey, because its attack has to be enough to kill or wound their target so that they can eat or fly away and let the power cool down. While in shadow form if the bird attacks, it becomes visible and its cool down rate takes 5-10 minutes to complete) Suggested equipment: Egg sling, nesting box, Shadow Tree, bells, mirrors, rings, food dishes, bling, ID leg ring A pouch containing nightshade, citrus fruit leaves, 3 dark energy gems (Shermie), A Reanimate dead spell page (From the Necronomicon)
Made by The Creator ‘Found by’ The Creator Species: Singing Birds Magical Affinity: Air, Earth, Illumination, Amplify, Magic Imitator Habitat: gardens or in cages as pets Food: small seeds and bits of fruit Life Span: around 5 years How it bears its young: Egg How long does the young stay with the parent: 3 weeks in the wild or hatched in a home as a pet Suggested equipment Egg sling, nesting box, cage, tall perch, ladders, bells, mirrors, rings, bird skates, boxes to put toys in (a hide and seek game) leash, cage cover, sandpaper perch, bird piano (will give out treats and can be set in a variety of ways), food dishes. Bling and shiney things are great gifts! NOTES: Tweeters are the smallest of the singing birds. Twilight Eclipse Thunderbird are dangerous at this time because by now they can use their electricity to stun or paralyze their prey and possibly their owners.

Made by The Creator ‘Found by’ The Creator Species: Arcane Hound Magical Affinity: Shadowing, Teleport, Telekinesis, Emphatic, Telepathic Habitat: Prefers dark cave like places Food: Meat Life Span: 20 years How it bears its young: live birth of 2-4 pups How long does the young stay with the parent: 12-15 weeks or they stay with the pack until it joins another pack. NOTES: Arcane hounds are loyal to their bondmate, able to communicate telepathically and emphatically as well. They range in colors of dark blues or purples to all black. You will never see a bright colored Arcane Wolf. They can be trained to be friendly towards others but can be very head strong and determined to resist training. These canines are the most adaptable of the canines, They are incredibly fast, strong and have sharp teeth, they are known for their fierce loyalty, if their bondmate is endanger then it won't stop until it has gotten rid of the threat. Puppies Pups are born blind and deaf for their first week of their life. With their long dense fur, they soon become the roly poly furballs by the time they are a month old. They have sharp teeth and strong bones from birth. Arcane Wolf pups will accept freshly killed meals and can eat tiny live creatures by the time it is a month old. By the time it is 2 months old, they can catch small rodents for themselves. These pups are very sociable and love to hide then pounce on each other. Suggested equipment Plenty of chew toys, animal shaped toys, balls, Frisbees. You will need to have a leash, collar, food dishes, bed, brush, comb and hair cutting shears. An instrument must be learned in order to control the Arcane Wolf. Adults Even though Arcane wolves are a pack animal, they do well as a companion pet. The smaller size makes them seem cuter than they actually are because they are overly protective of the one they have bonded with.

Made by The Creator ‘Found by’ The Creator Species: Deamon Hound Magical Affinity: Earth, Fire Habitat: They guard the gates of Hades and other fiery places. Food: Meat, Sulfur, Charcoal Life Span: 25 years How it bears its young: live birth in a litter of 1-3 pups How long does the young stay with the parent: 8-10 weeks Suggested equipment Plenty of chew toys, fire resistant balls, Frisbees. You will need to have a leash, collar, food dishes, bed. One must beware of flames and gas so you might want a gas mask. Will need to have charcoal on a rare occasion. Burn muzzle, collar, leash, brush. An instrument must be learned in order to control the Cerberus. NOTES: They are a one person animal and is very loyal to its master. Difficult to handle and must be left in the kennel when not with its owner. Cerberus is the guard dog of the gate to Hade's domain. Some say Cerberus is a hellhound. How exactly a litter of Cerebus pups came to be is uncertain. The Cerberus pets are three-headed snarling little beasties. They are also smaller than expected. Whatever the case is, Cerberus looks and behaves like the guard dog in mythology. Cerberus is much more surly and bloodthirsty than a Hellhound. Full grown Cerberus will only eat live meals and fresh kills. They are predators and only will follow one person. Training is extremely important if one wants friend's intact. Brute force may be needed to enforce commands if the Cerberus is not properly trained. Pup Puppies are born blind and deaf. During this 4 week period, the puppies learn how to find their way about using their keen hearing, sensitive touch and superior smell. They are fragile at this time and need a lot of milk to strengthen the bones. Once their eyes and ears are open, there is no stopping them from their playful antics. Their hides are thick which is necessary because their razor sharp teeth can rip a chunk out of your arm. The mother is a strict disciplinarian and keeps the pups in check. As the puppies grow into their huge paws, they will tend to be clumsy and uncoordinated which will endear them to your heart. It is imperative that they be trained to heed commands from their master absolutely. Once they get older, Cerberus become considerably less friendly to everyone around. As they grow, the cute growling and play bites can become much less adorable. One should always be wary of their jaws, but never forget their claws or fire breath. Adult Bloodthirst is strong in these creatures. If cerebrums are trained to not kill friends, make sure friends never show weakness or appear injured in its presence. Its keen nose will smell blood or sickness. Difficult to handle and must be left in the kennel when not with its owner. Cerberus may guard the gates of the underworld, but hellhounds guard the graves. Hellhounds patrol graveyards and burial grounds. They are said to hunt lost souls and unwary travelers near graves after dark. Puppies Puppies are born blind and deaf. Once they get older, hellhounds become considerably less friendly to everyone around. At their larger size the cute growling and play bites can become much less adorable. One should always be wary of their jaws, but never forget their claws or fire breath.

Made by The Creator ‘Found by’ The Creator Species: housecat Magical Affinity: Fire, Teleport, Telepathy, Jump Habitat: houses Food: small rodents, fish, some grasses Life Span: 10-12 years How it bears its young: live birth of 2-4 kittens How long does the young stay with the parent: 6-8 weeks NOTES: Firecats have cream colored fur and have the same markings as Siamese cats except that rather than brown their markings are a brick red. They have a triangular head and blue eyes. Firecats are fast and lithe. Their sense of balance is superb. They are flexible and agile creatures. They take three years to grow into adulthood, but they have the same lifespan as a man and are sentient as well as intelligent. Don't expect them to obey orders, don't even try to give them orders, cats will do what they want. Regard them as an equal and a partner, and you'll probably do alright.* Firecats are a bit strange in their abilities. They are capable of mental magic such as telepathy and have a skill called jump.*The skill called jump is one of the stranger skills. It is essentially the ability to teleport. The cats can jump themselves around pretty easily, but it wears them down. The more they have to carry with them, the faster they're exhausted. Jumping a human around is extremely taxing and the cat will need plenty of food, water, rest and other care after jumping a human around. The further the distance of the jump, the more energy it takes. The more tired the cat is, the more likely something will go wrong. Firecats do not bond themselves to *person like a bondbird or imprint like a fire lizard. They do, however attach themselves to a person. They can talk to anyone with their telepathy, but they choose who they help. They will be loyal to whoever deserves their loyalty. They are more of a partner than a pet. Firecats have close ties to their families and no one can stop them from jumping to their families. Fire cats teach the kittens and all have their own names given to them by their parents. They can be traced with a special communication gem but the cat will need to wear it and being a cat gives it the advantage for it can take the collar off if it should want to do so. It is best to encourage a close relationship with the kitten from the beginning. Kitten When first born, Firecat kittens are not blind. Once cleaned up, they can see and hear clearly. However they cannot be taken from their mother until they are weaned in about two months. Young kittens must be treated like superior toddlers. They instinctively recognize danger. However, one must be careful with thoughts as much as words around firecat kittens. They hear thoughts as well as they hear regular voices. Kittens are mischievous and curious. When they learn jump, beware. It is a skill instinctive to them as swimming is to a fish. They'll likely get themselves or their caretaker into a lot of trouble. Firecat Yearling kittens will not be able to jump a human around many times or very far. *Their second year it may be possible to jump a human a few times a week, provided they get superb care and the need is great. Suggested equipment Needs special collar, cat post, toys, litter pan, brush, comb, leash, food, bed, cat tree, litter pan Adult It's body from tip of nose to base of tail is about three feet long when full grown. The length of the tail matches the length of their body. At this size their claws and teeth are quite large. Trees outside will do as well as scratching posts. By adulthood they've learned sensibility and become practical and vain creatures. They are formidable in fights. They are predators, never forget that.

Made by an RP friend ‘Found by’ an RP friend Species: Big Cats Magical Affinity: Amplify plus the ability of ‘Borrowing of Companion’ Habitat: Jungle Food: Meat Life Span: 30 years maximum How it bears its young: Live birth How long does the young stay with the parent: in the wild- 1 year: as pets- 3 months. NOTES Growing up to 300-500 kg, and a length of 8-10 ft maximum. Gold Lions are called so because of their coat, their mane, and even their eyes. A species' entire body is coated in a way that it would seem gold and it has a special characteristic where in it has the same shine as gold which sometimes confuses people; this is how a lion in the wild would feed. Animals drawn towards the gold shine were curious enough to come closer as the lion would stay still, then when prey is within striking distance, then it would strike. Aside from that, these lions have a very powerful roar, a known characteristic even in earth lions, but this is not the only thing that makes this special creature very special. Once bonded with a master, these lions are able to take in magic from their master as long as it is channeled towards them and use it in a way to benefit itself in whatever current situation it is in. Very loyal, brave, and proud animals, they often seek for masters who have the same quality as themselves as the masters they have usually shape the adults they become. Kittens Kittens are blind and deaf at birth and their sight as well as their hearing come around 2 weeks old. They are very active, inquisitive and generally feisty. They are a pride type and like to have other cats about. Suggested equipment Needs special collar, cat post, toys, litter pan, brush, comb, leash, food, bed, cat tree, litter pan Adults Once bonded with a master, these lions are able to take in magic from their master as long as it is channeled towards them and use it in a way to benefit itself in whatever current situation it is in. They are very protective of their master and would protect the master with it’s life. They do play with balls and climb as adults. They can learn tricks if the owner would take the time to teach them.

Made by The Creator ‘Found by’ The Creator Species: house cat Magical Affinity: Shadowing, Teleport, Telepathy, Jump Habitat: houses Food: small rodents, some grasses, fish Life Span: 5-7 years How it bears its young: live birth litter of 2-4 How long does the young stay with the parent: about 6-8 weeks Suggested equipment Needs special collar, cat post, toys, litter pan, brush, comb, leash, food, bed, cat tree, litter pan NOTES: If you notice, shadows are rarely pure black, and so are Shadow Cats. Their furs are usually in patterns of grays, browns, and blacks. Shadow Cats are carnivorous creatures in the habit of stalking small prey. Shadow cats are about the size of your average house cat. As their legs are shorter, they have less speed than firecats. They are; however, easily overlooked.* Shadow cats are capable of disappearing into shadows. They see at night just as well as they see in day. Their ability is different from jumping in that it is more stable and requires shadows. They are less combat oriented and naturally blend into shadows except for their brilliant emerald eyes. They can jump from shadow to shadow in a firecat manner. Their shadow jump ability is less exhausting than a fire cats jump.* Shadow cats are not sentient in the way that firecats are. They are cunning and sneaky, but not as intelligent. They are like bondbirds in the way they relate to their owner or bondmate. They share an empathic and telepathic link with their bondmate. With their larger brains they are also better at communicating with their bond mate than a bondbird is. Kitten They come into the world with sight and hearing, but must be weaned before they could be made into pets. They are the size of, and grow at the same speed as, a normal cat. They must be well fed and well cared for to grow. They need to be groomed and trained and kept out of trouble. It is up to their bondmate and others to raise them and teach them until adulthood. A healthy young shadow cat is always curious. They can often be found spying by their bondmate when they let thoughts slip down the link. Adult It's body from tip of nose to base of tail is about three feet long when full grown. The length of the tail matches the length of their body. At this size their claws and teeth are quite large. Trees outside will do as well as scratching posts. By adulthood they've learned sensibility and become practical and vain creatures. They are formidable in fights.
