Shinji continued to look at Yu and listened to what he said then Shinji's eyes narrowed very slightly and the door closed and now they stood in a room of pitch black then a few seconds later lights came on from all around and flooded the area with light and in this room stood many hollows chained up surrounding them both "Disgusting isn't it? keeping souls that lost their purpose chained up to be used for a test...it is indeed harsh but this is simply my method...their time will come and they shall be purified but if I can give them meaning to their sorry existence then there is nothing wrong with what I do...call me a criminal, a monster and whatever you want but my methods work...Now...there is but one rule to this test...you must and this an absolute must. You must kill the hollow with 1 strike and this must be done with your Zanpakuto...this is the only thing that purifies them. Shinigami on a daily basis use their fists, kido and so on to kill hollows and this does not purify them and this makes us no better than Quincy...our greatest enemy...Now..."
