Dr. Rodney McNivens started pulling the mother of all sneers. War doctor? The sciences he practiced was such a degree above any petty warmonger that being relegated as some petty li-[b]hello there[/b]. There it was, the magic word. [i]Funding[/i]. For ages, all of Dr. McNivens work was operating on the barest of shoestring budgets, constantly overlooked in favor of unbelievably sub-par projects. Such as the strike force whose office he was sitting in. Or the large armored man that had been in the room with them. All he had to do was sell his work to this soldier. Should be easy, right? I was quite hoping that these 'metahumans' may have been have stumbled upon some useful pieces on their own and that I may...acquire them. Should that prove fruitless, then they could at the very least provide some useful testing subjects. On their own, they may very well prove useful in some way, shape or form.
