With it being in a separate room thinking about spaceship interios I doubt they will be moving seats. Purely as the seats move to follow the aim of the turret, so what you're looking at is what you're shooting at. That isn't really necessary in a central room as there will be cameras on each of the guns, so you just need to look at a screen. Think of it like playing a video game.

Both having more than one person, or just one, would work. I'll leave that bit for [@Baskets] to respond to, and then post after we know.
