Xaven would laugh when she had asked who was he calling a nerd, and he wouldnt tell, he just grinned and smiled at her as he ate his cake slice.  "oh" when she said about the cookies and if he asked nicely, she'd give him one. "im going to save it for when we are at camp and need the pick me up, but i will ask nicely, and your telling me on the discount thing, i wont be doing that again" nodding. "well of course i'd suprise you, that was the plan all along even if you had a date i was going to pull the puppy dog eyes and make you give in and let me take you" 

when she went on about the college, Xaven smiled at her. "its not unbelievable, your amazing with a camera, and you do stuff old school when you can, with the developing, and the dark room" he smiled. "i assure you, they would so know that i dont belong there, i cant take a good picture to save my life, and you will meet new people there, just be yourself"  Xaven's father nodded. "Damn right, be yourself sweetheart, and if they dont like that then they are the ones that have the issue" getting up and moving to get another slice of cake. "Robert, two is your limit mr. high blood sugar" he groaned. "that was one test, its not that high right now" putting a second slice on his plate and coming back over to sit down. "im a grown man woman, let me eat cake" kissing his wife, making him smile. "snake charmer"  she said, before they all laughed when she mentioned being queen and asking for her goofball. Xaven stared into her eyes, groaning at the pain that was piercing through his head, before it stopped as instantly as it came, and then his uncle was there, giving her a gift, and taking a plate of cake.  all of them listened to his story, and it was interesting, thats for sure.  

When his uncle tried to hook the necklace, Xaven nodded, and came over quickly. "yea, i can get it uncle" taking the ends from his hands, just as his uncle moved around to stand in front of her, though not as close as Xaven was as he hooked the necklace onto her neck, his fingers dragging along her soft skin as he grabbed her hair and pulled it off her shoulders, knowing she hated that. "looks great sweetheart, and what a story" Robert said, smiling. "that along makes the necklace priceless if you ask me, but im a sucker for a good story" Xaven gave her shoulders a squeeze, before he came around and stood before her. "looks perfect around your neck" smiling at her.
