Pragmatic- He often will approach the solution of situations with the highest outcome of success and never takes what ifs into consideration. The ends must always justify the means or it will appear pointless to him.

Compassion- will often show mercy to his adversary and will give them one chance to turn away from their foul deeds.

Opportunistic- When one is presented with an opening it would be foolish to not take it even if there is a slight chance that it may not go in their favor.

Distant- A good majority of his life have been dedicated to fighting the Sith and through it has lost many comrades over the years.  He learned early on that it is best to keep others at an arm’s length as they could be gone the next day. This attitude makes it quite difficult for others to get close to him or for him to put his trust in others.

Cocky-  Avix is very sure of himself and this often can be seen as arrogance

[b]Biography: [/b]
Avix was born in the Outer Rim to a family who lived in poverty, this is the extent of his knowledge of his family as he was taken by a Jedi Watchmen when he was an infant. He would be raised and trained on a praxeum ship that patrolled the Outer Rim. It was during this time that he was taught the history of the Jedi and how they were the peacekeepers of the Galaxy. In turn he was educated that the Sith are the greatest cause of suffering in the galaxy and threat to peace in their lust for power. Avix would take to this indoctrination quite easily and would often be trying to better himself so that he could stand up to threat lurking in the shadows.

These first 10 years of his life were rather peaceful as he diligently practiced and ate up any information he could get his hands on that would make him a better Jedi hopeful. He had an innate drive to be the best at an early age, often alone studying or practicing. The others younglings often saw him as a peculiar and rarely interacted with him outside of their lessons. This however would be shattered when the Sith Empire returned. Avix however was ignorant to this as at around this time he was chosen by Lucia Thaxton to be her apprentice. She was peculiar as some of her beliefs conflicted with the more rigid teachings of the order that had been hammered into him since before he could walk. It was quite the culture shock and would often cause him challenge her. This would cause her more often than not put Avix in his place in the gentlest way possible. 

However news soon would come of the Sith Empires return and destruction of the diplomatic team in the Aparo sector. Thus the peaceful existence he had known would soon come to an end. The training he would receive was quite different then what was taught to him aboard the praxeum ship. He would learn how to make explosives, splice into computer terminals, Makashi, stealth and various other skills that would make him effective in this time of war. Avix would take to these skills quite quickly with the exception of splicing. The news of the Sith victories drove him more to practice and better himself under Lucia’s tutelage.

It wouldn't be long before he would go on his first missions but they weren’t exactly what he expected. Avix had it in his head that they would involve fighting on the front lines to defend the Republic from the Sith menace. However he was greeted with the other side of war which involved sabotage and skulking about in the shadows. Initially he would be quite clumsy during these missions as he wasn’t adept in the art of stealth and putting it into practice was more difficult than he could have ever imagined. On his first missions things did not go as planned and often would lead to failure because of him. He met this adversity quite well and continued to hone his craft. He was fortunate that his master was patient, although she did scold him for his mistakes. It was always in a constructive and caring manner in which allowed him to grow. 

Before long Avix finally found his stride and started to show shades of the Jedi he could be. During this time many soldiers of the Sith Empires soldiers fell to him either directly or indirectly. It wouldn’t be long before he would encounter his first duel which was yet another humbling experience. He nearly lost to a sith apprentice if it wouldn’t have been for an underhanded trick that allowed him to get the upper hand and disable her. As he was about to finish her off his master immediately stepped in and prevented the fatal blow. Avix would protest but she would immediately harp back to one of the things she had tried to drill into his head. He had long overlooked showing mercy to the sith as he had yet to be put into a situation that would allow for it. He took it with a grain of salt as his master was rather eccentric but she stood firm on this much to his surprise. She was more than a mentor to him and this bond won through as he reluctantly obeyed. The sith would mock the gesture and with that she would meet her end. 

The years would continue to pass and Avix would begin to take on some of his master’s quirks such as the willingness to show mercy to the sith. However this would only be if he was given the opportunity which wasn’t all too often. He would develop some unbecoming characteristics on his own with the most notable one being his cockiness. It started to develop during his padwan years as confidence but soon warped into borderline arrogance as he became more successful in his abilities. 
By the age of 18 he would pass the Jedi Trials and would now forgo similar clandestine assignments on his own. He would gain the favor of the Republic Commandos during these years due to his pragmatic approach which often led to minimal casualties. This however was not seen favorable amongst some of the more cavalier Jedi he’d serve with who often had difficulty making the tough decisions and had a more conventional approach to thiese situations. Most also disagreed with his approach to handling the sith and had the sentiment that the only good sith is a dead sith. 

It was during these years that he would come across a rather peculiar red headed sith. She was filled with rage and his cocky demeanor throughout the duel probably added to her fury. However it would end in a draw. Such a twisted creature and began to wonder if something like that was worthy of mercy.
The years would pass and eventually he would be chosen to become a Jedi Shadow. His unwavering devotion to the order and his service record made him an easy a choice. Although is his unorthodox ideals about the sith being redeemable made quite a few in the order unnerved.
The next three years he would perform exceptionally well in his role as a shadow and would achieve success through any means necessary. He wasn’t opposed to underhanded tactics when the situation called for it. To him all that matters is if the mission succeeds with the least amount of casualties. There is merit in living to fight another day as opposed dying in vain.

[b]Personality and/or Motivation[/b]
Avix comes off as warmly distant to those who meet him. He is good natured to an extent but never makes any effort to form solid bonds with the other Jedi. To him it is easier this way as they could be gone the next day. He is content with lurking about in the shadows and doesn’t mind that most of his deeds go unnoticed. The thought of destroying another potential asset for the sith brings him great pleasure and enjoys being a thorn in their side. The pleasure of destroying a siths pride brings a smile to his face. He has a pragmatic approach to many things and will not go along with anything he deems fool hardy. However Avix has the willingness to show mercy to those who often don’t deserve any. He always gives the sith he defeated one last chance to come back to the light.  
Player’s long term goals: He hopes to one day show that a sith can be successfully be redeemed back to the light. He also hopes to end a vendetta with a certain female sith.

[b]Relations:[/b]
He has a bit of a rivalry with a female Sith he encountered early in his days as a knight. He hopes to put that creature out of its misery and see the pride fade from those dark eyes. Such a beast cannot be redeemed.
Master Tetsu- He met her briefly when he sought out information on a criminal organization that was dealing sith artifacts. The exchange didn’t leave him thinking highly of Master Tetsu and Avix would see her as another typical Jedi Master.

Lyric Novan- During his years as a knight, Avix would help Lyric with numerous missions that required subterfuge and stealth that would help in the campaigns. He would develop a bit of a friendship with Lyric as he was a man of action and is rather easy to get along with.  He also was one of the Masters that would recommend Avix to become a shadow.[/hider]
