Some potential positions to consider if folks are still having trouble thinking some up: Mercinary- individual who totes the guns and protects ship and crew Merchant/Smuggler- individual who knows a guy who knows a guy who needs this thing or that and finds the jobs Diplomat/Translater- individual who knows about Where we are and Who or What we are talking too and How (cause i'm assuming we will hopefully be encountering aliens at some point in time? Need to not insult clients) Hacker- individual who's more computer savvy than mechanical, good at communications and working around 'firewalls' LongTermPassenger- this could be intersting in the variety of people one could play * Scientist/Student- travling to study the various places and people we encounter * Servayer- simmilar to above only focusing more on what potential profit could be made (Think Miners, or Economics, Trade Goods etc. Or even goverment servayer looking at populations) **Stowaway- also in the LongTermPassenger type of role, but with more potential for plot-ly things Keep in mind all these can be mixed and matched to make a more interesting character to play, and make sure everythigns A-Okayed by our lovely Potato Lady!
