It consists of radical Islamic insurgents who are trained in the Caliphate to conduct a-symmetric warfare and terrorism against the infidels. Recruits from all across the world join this organization and setup local cells to further the spread of the true Islam within their own country. Its idiology teaches its members that it is the duty to wage jihad upon all the infidels until the entire world is united under one Caliphate. Productions (What your nation Produces): Oil, gas, agricultural products, industrial manufactured goods, Iron. Another great source of income to the Caliphate is the exploitation of the Suez Canal and the Bosphorus strait. Countries and companies have to pay special tributes to the Caliphate in order to make use of the sea lanes. Due to the extremely fundamentalist interpretation of the Quran, sharia and other Islamic works the capitalist banking system has been replaced by Islamic banking which does not charge interest on their loans. Also the country is closed to all international companies that are not run by the Islamic banking principles. This has a negative impact on the countries economy. History of the Nation (Easy Pz):
The Middle-east has always been a part of the world that has been infamous for its lack of stability. Ever since most of the Middle-east gained Independence during or closely after world war 2 it has been greatly divided across religious and racial lines. The birth of the state of Israel marked the beginning of a long conflict between Arabic Muslims and Zionist Jews. It was the unconditional support of the western world to the state of Israel that kick-started the rise of the radical Islam throughout the middle-east. The unwillingness of the west to truly condemn and act against Israeli atrocities in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict became the course of the believe that the West did not care about the Muslims. During the mid 90's the first true act of deviance against the western mistreatment of the Islamic world with the terrorist attacks on the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. In response the US bombed a pharmaceutical factory in Sudan. The terrorist attacks and American response only furthered the mistrust between the Muslim world and the west. Only 3 years later radical Islamic terrorist would strike at the heart of American society at 11th of September 2001. It was this event that marked the true change in US-Islamic relationship as the Bush administration declared its war on terror not long after. The US invaded Afghanistan in late 2001 and Iraq in 2003. It where these invasions and the failure to establish working regimes that where the greatest contributors to the rising instability in the Middle-east. The US interventions in the Arabic world in combination with their undying support for Israel regardless of what atrocities that country committed did not go unnoticed in Turkey. Slowly conservative and radical Islamic views became more popular. The popularity of the AK party is a prime example of this. After the US invasion of Afghanistan in 2001, the Secret Sunni Brotherhood was formed in Istanbul by Mullah Achmed Salah Ibn Al-Arabi. This organization preached the liberation of the Islamic world from western dominance and infiltrated the AK party of Erdoghan. It was under influence of the Sunni Brotherhood that the Turkish government refused US access for the 2003 invasion of Iraq. The western invasions in the Middle-east and the Israeli atrocities against the Palestinian people greatly deteriorated the Turkish relationships with their traditional NATO and Israeli allies. The Sunni Brotherhood adopted a policy to establish a large Islamic state where the true Muslims could live without having to worry about American or Israeli bombs destroying their homes. The Sunni Brotherhood looked for opportunities to expand their influence into other Islamic countries and opened up branches in Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Syria and unleashed what was called the Arabic Spring. Under the disguise of wanting more freedom the populations rose against their dictators and toppled the governments in Tunis, Cairo and Tripoli while Syria slipped down into a massive civil war. Meanwhile in Turkey the AK party failed to get the absolute majority but still remained in power. With Syria sliding down into chaos it saw the emergence of another Sunni group known as ISIS. This militant group quickly gained control of large parts of Syria and crossed into Iraq. Once again the response of the west was to intervene with military means in the middle-east. Throughout 2014 to 2017 heavy the international coalition waged war against ISIS. The Sunni Brotherhood tried to create their own group within the conflict but never could play a major factor in the conflict. This all changed when Syrian and Iraqi Kurds declared an independent Kurdistan in the Syrian and Iraqi Kurdish controlled area's in the autumn of 2017. This sense of liberation motivated the Kurdish PKK within Turkey to declare their independence and integration with this new Kurdistan. This prompted the Turkish AK government to respond and invaded the new country of Kurdistan. Only after a week of fighting Turkey signed a cf under pressure from NATO and especially the US. Greatly dis-contended about the outcome of the conflict and Erdoghan giving in to American pressure made the Turks hit the streets in protest. The AK government fell and new elections where held in 2018. This election was won by the Sunni Brotherhood party and once their government was installed they left NATO and invaded Kurdistan in the summer of 2018. After two months of fighting the Kurds where driven out of all their territories in both Turkey, Syria and Iraq. The Kurds went on to fight Turkey from war torn Syria prompting the Turks to intervene in the Syrian conflict. By the end of 2018 Turkey controlled all of Syria and Iraqi Kurdistan. Even though the EU and US objected to this occupation Turkey held their ground and simply stated that they had the right to intervene in order to protect the Muslims of the world. Iraq was quick to ask Turkey to give back the Iraqi part of Kurdistan which they refused. Meanwhile on the home front the Sunni Brotherhood government made quick work of turning Turkey into an Islamic state making the Sunni Islam the state religion and turning other religious groups into second class citizens. This policy founded also great support in Syria. A referendum was held and Syria officially integrated into what now was called the Turkish Islamic republic. With Syria under control of Turkey Iraq and its international allies managed to reestablish government control throughout Iraq. However great tensions between the ever more radical Sunni Turkey and the Shiite Iraqi government remained throughout the next years. During this time, the Turkish Islamic republic managed to greatly modernize their army and became the primary Middle-eastern power and self-proclaimed Guardian of the Sunni Islam. The fragile peace was once again broken when the Lebanon crisis broke out in 2028. Lebanese Christians murdered 63 Muslims in a mosque during the Friday prayers. When the Lebanese government failed to act upon this atrocity Turkish Islamic Republics forces crossed the border in what they called a peacekeeping mission. In truth Turkish forces armed Muslim extremist who went from house to house killing Christians and Shiite Muslims. Over the course of 6 months almost 1 million people where murdered and another million men fled to Israel. Is act was called the Lebanon genocide. With the Turkish Islamic faction becoming more and more aggressive an unlikely alliance was formed between Israel, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia. These countries all feared the ever rising power of the Turkish Sunni empire end worked relentlessly to expand their military capabilities. In the face of this new alliance the Turks signed a secret pact with Egypt. As the world got engulfed in world war 3 the Sunni Brotherhood realized that Israel would not be backed in full if they assaulted know. In April 2030 Turkish and Egyptian forces launched an attack on Israel. This prompted was would become known as the Middle-eastern war. Turkey had hoped to quickly conquer Israel together with Egypt but soon found out the hard way why the Jews state had nearly survived 100 years of conflict. Egyptian forces did not manage to penetrate at all and Turkish forces advanced very slowly in the Golan heights. Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia declared war on Turkey 5 days later. Turkey quickly managed to knock out the Jordanian and Iraqi air-forces and launched an Invasion of Jordan. By june 2031 Jordan was entirely occupied by Turkish Forces effectively cutting off Israel from its Arab Allies. Israel fell 5 months later. With the destruction of the Zionist state, the Turkish Islamic Republic found a sudden burst in popularity among Sunni Muslims world wide. Many Sunni Iraqi soldiers deserted and marched on to Baghdad but where routed with the support of Iranian units. With the Mediterranean side under control Turkey now started to focus on the Iraqi campaign. Due to the difficult terrain in both the Caucasus and Iran Turkey managed to hold off enemy offenses from those sides. As Turkey amassed their forces propagandist talked about the battle that was always meant to be fought. The battle between the Sunni and Shiite Muslims. The Turks amassed over 1.5 million forces to fight the 2 million man strong combined armies of Iran and Iraq. After five months of preparation the Turks launched their offensive only to find it halted after two months of fighting. As the Iraqi front became a stalemate insurgents from the Martyr brigades managed to start a revolt in Azerbaijan, forcing them to withdraw forces from the front-line. This opened up an opportunity to strike against Armenia and bypass the strong defensive line of the Turkish-Georgian border. In early 2033 Turkey launched their Caucasian offensive against Armenia and broke through the lines after 5 days of fighting. The majority of their army swept north and crossed into Georgia. After 3 months of fighting both Georgia and Armenia where under control. Azerbaijan had effectively gone into a civil war between Muslims and Christians. With Turkish support the Muslims eventually by the end of 2034. The first halve of 2035 was spend preparing for the final offensive on Baghdad which eventually fell at the end of summer. With Iraq collapsing Iran stood alone and asked for peace. With the Turkish military close to being depleted after nearly 5 years of total war Turkey and Iran signed the peace treaty of Baghdad. Iran was left unoccupied but had to pay high compensations for the war. At the end of the war. The Sunni Brotherhood proclaimed the Istanbul Caliphate in 2035. Egypt quickly integrated in 2036 into the Caliphate and a radical Sunni government was formed. In the wake of the end of the Arabic war mass violence erupted against all non-Sunni minorities within the Caliphate as millions where slaughtered or enslaved. Christians, Shiites and Kurds all fled or where expelled. It was estimated that over 50 million people where forced out of the Caliphate and around 15 million murdered, mostly in Israel. Up until now the Caliphate has used most of its time to rebuild after the Arabic war. Consolidating their conquests and rebuilding much of the countries industries. Internal stability was ensured by having a very radical interpretation of the Sharia and proclaiming all non-Sunni's as enemies of Allah.
Main Race (What is your State Race + Racial Demographics): Turks: 48 % Arabs: 42% Other: 10% Main Religion (What is your State Religion + Religious Demographics): Radical Sunni Islam. The Caliphate endorses a very radical version of the Sunni Islam. It forces everyone within the state to convert to this form of Islam. Religious minorities have been subjugated to extreme violence and genocide. Any other form of religion is prohibited by the state. People who refuse to convert can be punished by death of sold into slavery. Most people who identify with other religions than the Sunni Islam are slaves owned by religious fighters and leaders.
