Name: Geoffrey Nielsson Race/Nationality: European Gender: Male Age: 21 years old Favorite color: Light Gray Physical Appearance: Geoffrey aspect closely follows the “nordic sub-race” stereotype: wavy blonde hair with a scruffy beard he removes from time to time, broad square face with a fairly narrow forehead and a narrow high-standing snub nose. His slightly bulky body stands around the scandinavian average height, being almost six feet and ten inches. His face tends sometimes to assume a angered-but-relaxed expression, which makes his frequent and unwitting stares rather creepy. Short History: The first thing that greeted Geoffrey into the world was an aurora. Just, not the usual earth’s, the one which became less and less frequent as the situation on earth degenerated. In the med-bay of the Valkyrior cruise space-ship his mother gave birth facing the immensity of Jupiter, and of its dreamy blue auroras. Son of an incredibly wealthy business man with connections in the upper seats of the newly formed Conglomerate, descending directly from the almost extinguished Danish royal house, to Geoffrey was reserved a future of golden glories, prosperity and success unlike most of the decaying Earth’s population. Spoiled, immature, and arrogant, but at the same time active, intuitive and amiable, his carefree lifestyle came to an end when tragedy hit his family. What could we say about his father, Leopold Nielsson, if not talk of his unmistakable nose for convenient and socially progressive businesses? It led him to be one of the major investors of the Ark project, in order to ensure for himself and his family survival across eons of empty space. What could we say about his brother, Nicolai Nielsson, head engineer of the exploration equipes, certificated and vaccinated astronaut? A true hero, ready to sacrifice himself for humanity’s greater good. But here comes the tricky affair. By exposing himself too much in the public as supporter of the project his father attracted divine jealousy… or something like that. A series of bombs, placed in the right place at the specified time by Earth Loyalist caused hundreds of casualties among the elite population of the Ginevra megalopolis. One of the devices exploded right under Geoffrey’s eyes, hidden under a buffet table. He saw his family literally being teared into pieces. Only him and his one-year younger sister were spared from the onslaught, by sheer luck. Like that, his future, and himself, were extinguished in a matter of seconds. He has no other purpose now than to continue to his father’s chosen path, and sail on board of the Ark with the “shiniest and chromiest” of humanity. Personality: At first easy-going and even arrogant at times, his family tragedy completely resized his personality, making him quite socially impaired. Geoffrey is now considerably quieter than before, tending to be introverted and sensitive towards other people. He is naturally social, although his mind doesn’t automatically follow the rule “the more the merrier”: uneasiness is the first thing he feels around crowds. His exaggerated self-consciousness make very long talking sessions extenuating, even more when around strangers. Normal Outfit: Geoffrey generally wears a blue hooded sleeveless gilet over a t-shirt with large stripes of two similar tones of gray, slim jeans over a pair of big light-brown walking boots. His hands are covered by a pair of adherent black half-finger gloves, which he never removes from his hands. Sometimes he wears a pair of small red headphones with a plastic-glass visor connected to an holographic computer. Under his clothes and over his ordinary underwear he wears a triathlon-like suit to enhance his agility and endurance: he wears it most of the day in case of unexpected dangers or problems that may require quicker performances. Armor/Work Attire: Being of similar frame to his brother, the latter’s protective environment suit passed on to him. Being Robert an huge fan of the halo series, he ordered specifically an original space suit closely resembling the game’s one. Vacuum proofed, form-fitting suit of polymer body armor, shares most of the qualities of the original one, like an enclosed environment controlled by cooling and heating units, and a board multi-functional AI slot. However, this space suit trades resistance to attacks and combat technologies for higher maneuverability, lightness and overall more useful scouting and broadcasting programs. Weapons: He has no weapons outside of a small finger-sized laser lamp. Works pretty much like a pepper spray. Knowledge and Skill Set: By the time the Ark departed, he had been studying economics in order to succeed his father in the management of the Niels.INT . His area of expertize comprehends logistics and sociology, although his knowledges are mostly average. Few are the programs he is unable to run, and his computer skills are highly valued. Oddly enough, he truly shines in world and european history, culture, and most fields of arts. Geoffrey was a proficient musician as well. Job: Formerly jobless due to his “honorary member” rank, he works unofficially as archivist and logistics engineer. Other: Loves Cosplaying; venerates the old bioware classics; his smartphone ringtone is the Double Trouble OST
