Hi! This looks interesting and I was wondering if there was still room in this rp for new applicants?

@Dynamo Frokane Essentially. Its a bit more complicated than that, though.

Relevant to dnd standards, what would be the "level" limit to our characters' powers? (assuming you know dnd standards >_> (1-20(1 being any jobber who knows how to do what they do enough to affiliate with a 'class', 20 being kicking down deity's doors and demanding rent)))

I agree, a scale of some sort would keep us all in balance with each other. As we are being summoned by the 'chief battle-master' where should our skills compare in relation to him?

@knighthawk
I'm guessing the chief battle-master is more of a title than anything. A veteran whose proven himself to the point where he doesn't have to prove himself any more...or so his appointers think. I'd imagine it'd get into the whole "Back in my prime, when I was allowed to be on the field instead of telling others what to do on the field..." kinda thing.
Sad how age effects people.

But that's just my take.

@Hawlin
Agreed, most likely a general or such, but even that a veteran of so many years would be of higher skill than anyone else in the country, assuming comparisons. I like the D&D level system too, Sinder is based off of pathfinder but I've been doing D&D for 20 years. I tried rather hard not to shoehorn the hard D&D stuff into the character until allowed.

Oh, of course. Old dogs still know their old tricks, that's why they're more valuable alive than dead.
That's why they get the comfy seats and beds in the king's court instead of a cot near the front lines. Not to say those jaws don't still have rows of nasty teeth in them as well as a grip of tricks and >10 different tactics on how to use them to make your life a living hell.
(Character philosophy)

Also *high-five for Pathfinder*
<3 the simplification of the multiclass system as well as making fighters viable in in later levels without the pressure to multiclass.

@Hawlin this isnt a DnD based system I'm going by the RPGuilds Arena combat standards.

These guys would be 'powered' think of later game final fantasy level of around 50-60, its not a super strict thing, just make sure they are arent Gods or Rookies. Make your character however you please and I'll let you know if they are too strong or not.

Also you don't have to PM me with charachter ideas before you post, just post them in the OOC and I'll ask you to amend them if there is anything that doesnt fit and then I will confirm if they can be posted in the CS tab.

EDIT: my mistake I already gave Gin permission to post but EVERYONE please add an apperance description or picture to you CS if you havent already, my mistake.

Yeh, I was thinking about trying to test the boundaries of what you'd consider to be OP, but conventional knight stuff with advanced combat skill shown in the IC seemed more appropriate.
Running it by you in the pm was me just being curious if inserting regional lore would be tolerated.

@Magnato Can I have more details on what animals she can shapeshift into and for how long, does it use energy etc. And I assume a druid is a healer? I might be wrong maybe just throw in a few example spells. Also throw in how competent she is with her weapons and if she has knowledge using any others please. Once this is done you may post her in the CS tab.

@Mortimer- that dark matter spell seems a little OP, I'm afraid while I like your character youll have to tone down all of his spells just a tad, before I can accept him. Maybe have some sort of limited amount of energy he can use or negative side effects to some of his more powerful spells. everything else seems fine.

@Hawlin Character approved, though I wouldnt mind you adding a little more about her fighting style and sword expertise, though its up to you.

And to answer your question reigonal lore is actually encouraged makes you more a part of the world.

It's 5am on my end and with work and everything, well. I'll get to it later today. I will mention when its been updated and mostly hold off on posting it in the CS tab until then.
Also, I'm doing this on my phone and it'd be a pain to copy it all over. >_<

Thanks, and I understand.
