[h1]Official Ascension of Isabella Ramirez and Fernando Salazar and a message from the Dual Emperors[/h1]

[b]People of Mexico! Here me today! We stand here to observe the ascension of Isabella Ramirez and Fernando Salazar to the position of rulership, as was dictated by our late ruler and guide, Simon Salazar, may God be pleased with him.[/b]

The two new leaders of the Mexicans walked into the Cathedral, dressed in traditional catholic regalia as they arrived. As the couple approached the priest, a choir began to sing the traditional hymn of Psalm 122. And so began 

[i]Here stand the unquestioned rulers of Mexico, the rightful King and Queen by virtue of Isabella's appointment and Fernando's blood relation with Don Salazar. Rey Fernando Salazar y Reina Isabella Ramirez. [/i]

As Isabella and Fernando were crowned, the new queen stepped forward to make an announcemet. 

"People of Mexico and indeed of the World," She spoke, her voice heavy still with grief and anger in a way. "A time of peace has returned to the land, now that the Crusade initated by my predecessor has been ended. I, Isabella Ramirez and my husband, Fernando Salazar, would like to personally appologize for the actions and behavior of Don Salazar, for while he was a great man, his descision to declare holy war was unjust, truly it was not the way of Christ to rush into violent war before trying all other options. We, the Monarchs of Mexico, repent our sins to the international community and pray God will be merciful with us. In a show of our regret we will contribute double what the international community deems is enough to send to the Iranian people."

Fernando came to join his wife in her speech. "My father founded this nation on the idea of Fascism. But indeed, the warmongering ways of fascism have no place in a holy empire of God. We, the Monarchs of Mexico, have with great contempation and though, have decided to disband the Fascist Mexican People's Alliance." 

The crowd seemed stunned; unable to believe what they had heard. 

"Isabella and I have appointed a new set of advisors and officials. This new party, known as the Holy Brotherhood, will replace all current fascist party members, save for Constantino Cuautlaxahue, who will remain the nation's religious advisor." 

Isabella then spoke up once more. "We are also Changing the Name of the Country. No longer are we the Third Mexican Empire, from this point on we shall be known as the Catholic Kingdom of Mexico. We shall retain our claim as Defensor Fidei, but no longer and never again shall we jump to war as a first descision. Fascism will never hold sway in Mexico, only monarchy with the grace of God shall be welcome here."

And the crowd went wild with passionate happiness.

[b]Bogóta, Colombia Province[/b]

"Isabella and Fernando will burn!" shouted Nicolas Abarca, firing his automatic rifle into the air as the the other MPA supporters hung and burned two effagies of the new Monarchs. "They have turned their backs on the Mexican people, and so we have taken the Colombia province from their grasp and placed it in our hands, the rightful leaders of Mexico. The Empire will last forever, as Salazar demands!" 

The city of Bogóta was in shambles from the actions of the Fascist Rebels. 

"Take a look, Dual Monarchs! Once we reach Mexico City it will look just like this. You'll get to see the full view as we raise you both in your stake and light it up."

And so began the 2nd Mexican Civil War
