Name: Noriko Murakami Female Age 16 First year Nationality: Japanese Personality: Day dreamer With a natural thirst for knowledge that shows itself early in life, she is often given the title of “bookworm”. While this may be intended as an insult by her peers, Noriko identifies with it and is even proud of it, greatly enjoying her broad and deep body of knowledge. She enjoy sharing her knowledge as well, confident in mastery of chosen subjects, but owing to Intuitive and Judging traits, she prefers to design and execute a brilliant plan within Noriko's field rather than share opinions on “uninteresting” distractions like gossip. “You are not entitled to your opinion. You are entitled to your informed opinion. No one is entitled to be ignorant.” — Harlan Ellison A paradox to most observers, she's able to live by glaring contradictions that nonetheless make perfect sense – at least from a purely rational perspective. For example, Noriko can be simultaneously the most starry-eyed idealists and the bitterest of cynics, a seemingly impossible conflict. But this is because types like her tend to believe that with effort, intelligence and consideration, nothing is impossible, while at the same time they believe that people are too lazy, short-sighted or self-serving to actually achieve those fantastic results. Bio: I really like to read fiction, I would read manga but there are too many pictures and not enough dialogue. I spend most of my free time in my room with my books I get from various stores. I lived with my dad as an only child. My mom died in child birth, so I help my dad with the choirs while he cooks. Oh yea my dad is a great cook in his own restaurant. We live on the second floor. I just got accepted to a great all girl school which made my dad happy. Wish summer was longer so I could read more. I don't have a lot of friends. A lot of girls I knew moved, or got into different social circles. My closest friends are authors, Banana Yoshimoto, Natsuo Kirino, and Teryu Miyomoto. Other: Noriko speaks Japanese only and uses calligraphy kanji as a means of meditation.
