I intended for the route to be taken to be pre-decided by the Emperor, because he will provide intel on potential weather and such that we must be wary about, for the reccomended route.

Of course, that's the [i]reccomended[/i] route. Whether we wish to stray from it... that can be decided in-character.

Whether we want to get to our destination... thatvis our character's decision.
