Off the top of my head, a set up like that one guy had in X-Men: The Last stand. Where he had lighters or something and could generate flames?

Flamethrower gloves, basically. Maybe incorporate it into his actual skin, and have it adjustable (Ex: He could do a straight stream of pure flames, or he could do a wide blast)
