Adelisa had sighed and smiled at Lila, pretty much letting them know she'd feel uncomfortable if she was a third wheel (highly unlikely, since she didn't see it as something certain that Amelia would forgive Hunter's actions easily) and asking them how she was supposed to get over Grant when he'd be present throughout their vacation. Jareth had listened carefully and handled everything with such gentleness it surprised Lila that him and Adelisa were even rivals one time. When Jar mentioned the vacation not having to be a couple's retreat, Lila nodded reassuringly at Dela. And when he looked at Lila with such affection and said that he wanted to have have for the nights, she immediately blushed and shyly smiled at him, tucking a strand of her behind her ear. She'd spent the last two months missing Jareth, wanting nothing more than to have him with her. Spending the nights with him sounded like paradise. When Dela asked about the pills, Jar played the clueless card and bowed out, telling Lila he would be out for a run and letting Dela know that he would be there for her in case she needed him. Dela and Lila nodded at him, and the latter threw him a kiss and turned to Dela as Jar closed the door behind him. She would have to remember to ask him to toss the pills and not be an ass by keeping them for himself. Lila was alarmed when the first thing Dela did after Jar had left was to reach for the pills in the nightstand. "What are you doing?!" she asked Dela in a panicked, high-pitched voice. To her relief, Dela simply put the pills inside the drawer. "Oh, thank goodness!" Lila muttered under her breath, letting out a grateful sigh. Then Dela turned to her with sad, sorrowful eyes and asked her: "do you think Grant and I could ever get back to what we were?" Lila thought for a moment before answering. "Sweetie, I think that the only way you should get back with Grant is if he proves himself to be worthy of you. You should let him prove that his intentions with you are serious, that you are an important part of his life, and that he is proud to call you his own. If he doesn't, then I don't think he's the right guy for you, Dela. You should never have to change or hide who you are in order to please anyone."
