Its canine-like head is horned and it has a muzzle full of razor sharp teeth. A Snarnorgul stands a little over 15 feet tall and weighs 5,700 pounds of raw muscle and power. Character Tier :( Intermediate) Character Type: Active Multiverse Participant/Secondary Character Physical Description: As mentioned, Snarnorgul is hideously large with enormous goat like feet in which it uses to traverse most terrain. It wears no clothing, as few articles could fit its great stature, yet neither would it wish the restriction. Snarnorgul may at times move on all fours, using it's massive upper set of arms to get over a barrier. Personality Description: Snarnorgul is arrogant, and greedy, having an unquenchable desire for gold, warm flesh, and not caring who gets in his way for more. He appears often to possess a rather sardonic sense of humor, mocking enemies darkly while they are talking. Despite his physical prowess, Snarnorgul prefer to work behind the scenes, and enjoys manipulating possible rivals. But does not shun nor fear combat, in fact he revels in it when given a challenge and is known for wanton destruction for chaos sake. The most distinguishing characteristic of the Tanar'ri (aside from his greed or hunger), is his arrogance. Snarnorgul thinks very highly of himself, loudly boasting his superiority. Skills, powers and abilities: As a tanar'ri, Snarnorgul has lived an exceptionally long time, and has centuries in which to sharpen his skills. Despite his beast like visage, he possesses predator cunning unrivaled by mere beast. His greatest strength are in his advanced ability to quickly adapt and learn during an encounter. (high)Strength: Being a fully-grown Tanar'ri, Snarnorgul is massive and powerful. His physical strength is great enough to crush stone with ease, and bend metal with no effort in the least. On average he has the strength to easily lift 100 tons with effort, anything more requires even greater effort and time. Snarnorgul can punch roughly with 60000 pounds of peak punching force using his upper arms, his lower arms punch with half this might. (As a scale, Tyson has the psi of 1,800 behind a single punch.) (high)Endurance: Snarnorgul is covered in highly reflective scales and chitin that acts as natural body armor. Added with an exoskeleton of rock hard bone as tough as jade grants him formidable endurance. The scales easily turn aside the sharpest of blades, and are capable of withstanding great fluxes of temperature in excess of 24200 F. The greenish exoskeleton plates located on it's shoulders, back, and arms is strong enough to deflect and withstand forces such as artillery fire at point blank, as well as high explosive anti-tank rounds, protecting against impacts and heat as high as 500 tons of TNT. Equalling to 2,092,000,000,000 joules of force. However, his underbelly, underarms, throat and most of his legs do not possess these sheets of protection. Leaving it's thick hide, capable of weathering guns as high as 50 caliber rounds, as the only means of protection for these otherwise vulnerable parts. No such protection exist for it's eyes and insides. However, while he can withstand piercing attacks and slashing weapons, blunt tarma is most effective. (Intermediate)Pincers & Claws: Snarnorgul's two crablike pincers are it's primary means of attack, and are about 3 feet long. They have the crushing force to easily grind and cut a car in two, snap steel bars, or rend flesh and bone. These razor-edged pincers resemble fused talons made of horn and serrated bone-like substances. However have great durability, able to withstand powerful sword cuts from energy weapons. Snarnorgul's lower arms sport powerful land deadly claws, and while not as powerful as their pincer counterparts, are much faster, often resembling a blur or storm of slashing rending claws the length of 8 inches when fully extended, powered as they are by the overdeveloped musculature and steel-like tendons of a Tanar'ri. Both pairs of natural weapons are diamond hard and easily cut through most objects. The 4 foot long horns on it's head also possesses equal durability. (Intermediate)Maw-Claws: Like the claws or pincers he sports, Snarnorgul maw of teeth are extremely strong and powerful. They extend to an easy 6 inches in length, are no less durable, but have an added unique ability. These claws tear apart and consume bodies, absorbing their memories and assimilating the greater knowledge of whatever prey Snarnorgul manages to catch hold of. Two large 18inch tusk jut out of it's maw, both are adamantium-laced and thus many times stronger than steel. (low)Speed: Snarnorgul can run at a steady 15 mph, hardly faster than a human and slower than many Olympic athletes. Snarnorgul does not possess great flexibility either, though he does have keen and quick reflexes and can leap forward covering a significant distance in little time. His overall jumping height from a standing position is just less than 10 feet. If needed Snarnorgul can sprint quicker for a wicked gore attack with his horns. (Intermediate)Biology: Due to the horrific and desolate surroundings of their home world, natural selection has played a significant role in the evolution of the Tanar'ri. Unlike most sentient species of humanoids, of which they resemble little of, Tanar'ri eyes are completely red and narrow- on Earth, such small eyes are found on animals that live in barrows, and in this case it gives the Tanar'ri 60-degree vision, while Humans have an almost 180-degree forward-facing horizontal field of view. However, despite a narrower field of vision, or perhaps because of it Tanar'ri can see much further then a human, up to four times the distance with immense detail. Tanar'ri eyes have no pupils, but their red gleaming eyes had advanced low-light vision, allowing them exceptional eyesight at night or in total darkness, though they are sensitive to bright flashes. Tanar'ri possess slightly higher than average hearing then a normal human, but it's greatest sense is it's sense of smell allowing it to find even invisible foes. Tanar'ri can also go for weeks without food or water, and can survive off of little sleep. Tanar'ri have excellent bodily defenses against poisons and toxins, while magical born kinds they can effect a Tanar'ri for a time, they are quickly expelled from the body. Once this happens, no such poison, virus or their like can effect that Tanar'ri ever again, such is their ability to adapt. Once more, Tanar'ri most amazing physiological feature of their biology is the multiple instances of major organs. These secondary (and where applicable, tertiary) systems are capable of serving as back-ups in the event of damage to the primary biological structures. They have, for example, two hearts, four lungs, an extra liver like organ and four testicles. The presence of anther liver is one of the main reasons they can detoxify themselves so quickly of foreign agents. (Intermediate) Regeneration: Tanar'ri possess a potent healing factor. Which can regenerate damaged or destroyed tissues of his body far beyond the capabilities of an ordinary sentient humanoid. Snarnorgul's healing factor is another defense that makes him extraordinarily resistant to diseases, drugs, and toxins. However, he can still suffer the immediate effects of such substances in massive quantities. It usually takes him three rounds, (post) to slowly mend light damage, twice as much for moderate damage, and days for extreme damage, such as the loss of a limb or organ. He can however place back a lost limb to reattach it if needed. (Intermediate) Sonic scream: Snarnorgul can unleash a powerful and debilitating screech that can prove deadly to most creatures. It channels this screech into a narrow wind tunnel from it's maw, projecting a blast of infrasound as high as 200db. Enough to cause serious harm to biological targets, shatter glass, crystals, and even damage stonework. This is among Snarnorgul only extreme range attacks. (Intermediate)Stomach Acid: Snarnorgul can manipulate and build up the stomach acid in it's gut to continuously dripping from his maw with acidic bile powerful enough to dissolve through steel. Snarnorgul also has a powerful tongue, extending up to ten feet, dripping with corrosive acids that can be used to snare prey and bring them in for consumption and digestion while leaving it's other limbs free for other tasks. Snarnorgul can store huge amounts of these highly acidic digestive fluids, and then spray it over a wide cone shaped area in front of it as far as 60 feet. (Intermediate)Toxic sacks: Two sacks sit within the base of it's neck, which connect to it's mouth. These allow Snarnorgul to expel at will clouds of fetid poisonous gas that stings and burns soft organs like eyes, and if breathed in can slowly dissolve internal organs, they are also capable from that point of boiling a victim's blood while it is still in their veins. Snarnorgul is immune to this toxic gas. (High) Tanar'ri mind: The Tanar'ri is a high caste of creatures belonging to a great hive mind. They are thus highly resistant to mind effecting Psionics, while are in turn capable of launching a mind blast that is a 60-foot (20m) cone that stuns anyone caught within it by projecting a mental scream. Undead, and constructs are immune to this effect, and powerful minds can overcome the mental pain.
