It is a field that was drilled in by his father, and the camp. He uses a Standard issued camp sword most the time for this, though he has a hatchet as a back up or in some cases he uses it duel with his sword. he also carries a combat knife if all else fails. Hunter is one of the demigods with experience with firearms, even though he has this experience he will rarely use one. This does not mean he can handle a bow, if you give him a bow he will likely shoot his own eye out trying to use it. Survival, Hunter is a survivor. He has lived on his own and on the road for much of his life. He has spent much of his time improving how to survive in harsh conditions because of this, this would include things from filtering water to starting fires. Though first aid is always a bit of a problem. Powers: None. Personality: Hunter is one of those people who cares for his people, he will do anything to protect those he cares about. The problem with that is he doesn't really know who is his people. He has a tendency to show mistrust for most people out of fear of getting double crossed. He has a tendency to be a smart ass, and sarcastic. This would be related to his amount of time in the Hermes cabin. History: Hunter was raised with magic, his mortal father made it very clear that there were things that would try to kill him as he grew up. His father being the son of another demigod knew enough information to teach Hunter as he grew up how to defend himself from monsters. By the age of Nine his father started taking him on trips, these trips they went out to find and kill monsters that Hunter would one day have to learn to kill himself. After one of the trips there was an accident, resulting in a death of a mortal. After this Hunter ran away to the one place he thought he could avoid the life his father was preparing for him, Camp Half Blood. Hunter spent two years in Camp Half Blood before he realized his life was going to the same place, just a different route. Over the course of four years he would leave camp and return not knowing where to go. He was eventually claimed at the age of fifteen, a child of Nemesis. He was angry at this point, he spent years in the Hermes cabin with the other Hermes kids, only to be sent to a cabin where for the most part he was one of the only kids in it. So like before he ran off, and he confronted his father about his mother, why he was only learning who she was now. The answer he got, "You weren't here to get an answer." He returned to camp, still unsure what to do with himself. After trying to find his place he practiced many different training exercises to help find where he was to go with his life. He spent time with several cabins brushing up on skills and information he could use to help him as he grew up. the biggest ones were, the Ares cabin where he practiced his new skills as a Demigod Warrior, and fixing up his skills as a killer. He also spent time with the Athena cabin, learning more on history about the gods, but not ancient history, more modern, starting from the 1900's to the present day. He especially got vaccinated withe the Titan war, after reading this and figuring out how much the gods have done, he lost trust with in the gods overall. Once the civil war broke out he hated the idea that the demigods were taking sides in a war that he felt none of them should get involved in. Though he liked the idea of the gods falling from power, he tries at several points during the war to find a way to cause the gods too keep fighting with as few demigods casualties as possible, in hopes that they will wipe each other out.
