Dominus News Network had interrupted scheduled programming for an important announcement. Center of the screen was a woman - tall, poised, the essence of calm, cool and collected. It was Juliana Biru herself - the branch chairwoman of DNN. Biru was Ethiopian descent, and her strong accent was trademark of any important DNN broadcast. "Greetings," the anchor began, her face welcoming, but serious. "I am Juliana Biru, and this is Dominus News Network. We are coming to you tonight with troubling news. Evidence has surfaced through an anonymous government source tonight that the Kuwaiti government has, in the past, engaged in heinous crimes against African and Asian migrant workers. Our report shows that the government of Kuwait, with the express knowledge of Emir Abdullah, the head of Kuwaiti government, has imported poor, uneducated workers from Africa and southeast Asia in order to have them serve as workers. Many allegedly were denied their request to return home after their contracts expired, and we have evidence that the Kuwaiti government forced the workers into further contracts." Juliana took a deep breath, focusing intently on the camera. "Perhaps most disturbingly, evidence has surfaced of at least one mass grave containing the bodies of at least one hundred expatriate laborers who have been worked to death. Our source promises that there are more, indeed, many more, that lie in the deserts of Kuwait." Juliana paused for dramatic effect before continuing. A video of a protest appeared beside her. "What you're seeing here is a protest that has formed overnight in Kuwait City. The protesters are demanding that human rights be respected in Kuwait, and that Emir Abdullah answer for his alleged crimes." "Truly, these accusations shake the Kuwaiti government to its very core. As of now, the Emir of Kuwait has not issued a response. The future of these migrant workers remain unseen, but we here at Dominus News Network promise to keep you updated."
