Shu
Though Shu kept her back tall and straight as the group made their way to the city outskirts, her decision weighed heavy on her shoulders with every step. This was a terrible idea. Not the protection of Atlas part – she was completely on board with making sure the land was safe for all citizens. No, the terrible idea was thinking she belonged with that man with no sense of personal space, (who was a Leonian soldier, to top it off) a foreign girl who seemed easily flustered, Gentry, and some other person Shu had yet to meet. They even had two disaster Pokemon in their party. That was a bad omen if she'd ever seen one. Gentry and Kasumi were quicker on their mounts, forcing Shu and Wu to trail behind, but that was fine with her. She'd rather follow than have them at her back. They didn't wait long at the crossroads before the last member of their group finally appeared. Another girl, Argentian by the look of her, who didn't bother to introduce herself. At her question, Shu eyed the two trails. Journeying through Leonias in the summer wasn't something Shu looked forward to, but then neither was braving Argentian floods. She gave a quiet sigh to herself, Wu mirroring her. "They're from Leonias," she said, glancing between Paro and Gentry. "They know the land. If they're trustworthy, the smart move would be to take advantage of that." Shu wasn't exactly in a trusting mood, but decided to let that go unsaid.
