No worries, I've been unusually delayed these days...blame family matters. (Not the tv show) Ya know, some older episodes were coming on tv (too lazy to get on Netflix) and it had more of the Deanna and Worf stuff, it was always fun to see since I wouldn't expect such a thing from someone like Worf. Though near the end of series, you can tell his character gets a lot more attention. I did note that the man behind Worf, is hoping to get some more ST on tv with Worf, which would be pretty fun. I also caught the last episode, I have seen bits prior to getting interested but now that I have more information, I am even more amused by the set up they had. I also find Q more interesting now. After knowing more, I'd say the finale pay of increased for me. I look forward to sitting down and looking at it again sometime. That sounds fine to me, glad we're on the same page and building on it more. ^^ I had assumed them needing hosts would be their attempt to evolve. Or maybe it's to relocate for some reason? Maybe they have exhausted the resources on the planet's surface where the waves hit? I'm sure rotation would be far too slow to fix the problem of needing more nutrients or whatever? Another side effect or symptom could be that those under the influence, could be able to withstand heat, as you mentioned, they could also be warmer than usual. There would be a lot of complicated and difficult things to connect, it could be very fun (maybe not for Beverly). We could use the whole "everyone getting with everyone" to also be a point of conflict. Maybe the science side thinks it's for the good of survival where those who become native, see it as vile and impure? If we had a way or the group of populate by another means as you suggested, it may also affect the alien life form? Oh yes, I have seen that episode. Parts of it good, other parts...ya know...eh. That would be a good kind of leader for religious/natives who live off the land. We will need some larger than life folks butting to heads when the Enterprise shows up, after. *laughs* That sounds fine with me, we should feel free to nurture other ideas/episodes as we carry on.
