I won't just let other people insult him like that" he said while putting on his very best upset face, which since he was a Gyarados looked far more hostile then he intended it to. Then, lowering his head so that it was next to Spruce "hey buddy, cheer up. I'll let you ride on my head. That way I can get my hat-hat-hat, and you get a free ride"

There were a lot of ways this could have gone wrong. So many times when just a single slip up could have led to the death of each and every one of them. Tini however, didn't think about any one of them. Or rather, they never even occurred to him. So while he did feel like celebrating a mission completed, it wasn't because they had just narrowly avoided death. Truly, ignorance is bliss. "Aww, you're welcome Bonnie" he said as he wrapped his entire body around her in a big super hug, which is when something occurred to him "wait a second; I just evolved. That means...I can give even bigger cuddles!!!"
