1- disruptor cannon experimental meant to take down enemy shields. The weapon causes shield power to fluctuate causing a resonate wave in the shield that builds causing damage to the shield generators and causing them to fail. 
Ship technologies: 
- Experimental signal projectors. These are used to confuse enemy targeting computers by sending false signals out into space which hopefully overwhelm enemy sensors.
- Long range scanners are located all along the ship with antennas doted all over the ship. They are top of the range and the longest standard scanners that are equipped to destroyers. If need be targeting information can be relayed to all ships in the fleet.
- Fusion reactors power the ships systems and are standard equipment along with the FTL systems and computer cores.
- Skin tight hull shields. This ship is equipped with skin tight shielding which runs parallel with only one centimetre between hull and shield which uses less power than conventional shields.
- Impulse engines are used for sub-light travel. The ship has excellent speed and agility for a ship of its class.

Notable missions: Only one mission has been completed by this ship. The mission was to eliminate a pirate base with its two sister ships. They had all passed basic trials and a practical test was required. Mission was codenamed lightning justice. All they had to do was eliminate an asteroid base along with its fleet that had been taken over by pirates. Early in the mission showed good progress. It wasn't until half way through that the first problem occurred when one of the sister ships tried to fire its disruptor cannon which caused an overload in the ships power grid. It exploded a few minutes later apparently caused by a misalignment caused by some damage taken early in the battle. Her other sister ship was destroyed by stealth mines that the pirates had laid to defend the station. The Fading Light quickly moved into her sisters ship wake as the wreckage floated towards the station clearing a path for her. After they had cleared the minefield the pirates surrendered having no weapons left.
Other: A their are two major weaknesses of this class of ship. The first being its very thin armour which has been sacrificed for speed and agility. Another weak point is that the ships engine exhausts are unshielded meaning a well placed shot can cripple the ship.  [/hider]

Name: Tel Seven
Age: 27
Race: Android - Made by many races androids are a versatile and useful tool. However some are made just for entertainment or for people who just want company. Androids have keener senses than humans however they aren't smarter or stronger than humans. This is because the limited space means that their isn't much room for motors or an AI computer. Tel is part of a group of androids that have broken free from their masters and made their own place in the universe. Most leave them alone due to the planets they in habit being completely hostile to life. Their are currently seven worlds owned by the androids inhabited by ones of all shapes and sizes some even made up to look like aliens that only exist in fiction. They have only recently joined the alliance so they can prove they are real people and for protection.

Personality: Generally Tel's sense of what is appropriate to say is none existent and will ask very personal and inappropriate things such as she can smell people's pheromones. Tel gets very angry when people call her a thing instead of a person or use it instead of her. Other than that most of the time Tel is very perky and happy most of the time. However when she is engaged in a serious situation she will act appropriately and stay focused. 
Quick-Bio: Tel was manufactured to be a an entertainment android for a casino. They were going for an exotic alien theme for a new section they were opening. After five years of work she was deemed no longer useful being to old and not new enough to impress the customer. When she was sent to be melted down along with many others the shipment was intercepted by a group calling themselves The Android Liberation Force. A group that has been fighting for rights of AI in all forms but especially androids. They erased her safety protocols and the ones that stopped her thinking or deleting her memory every week. Afterwards she was taken to planet that was a safe haven for androids of all kinds even having their own government. 

It took 15 years before Tel started to get her own personality something that would have been purged by her creators calling it an error. However she was a bit peculiar in when she talked to people as she had no boundaries. Still she was loved by a few people how found her oddness interesting. Later in life she felt the urge to give back to the people of her new home world so she signed up to the navy. It took 2 years of training before she graduated with honours having been described as very efficient. She was given the rank of commander where she served on an old frigate that had been procured from mothballed fleet. At the age of 25 Tel had proven herself to be a fine officer so she was chosen to captain the Fading Light during its experimental fazes. It was a year before the ship was ready to leave space dock on its first full mission. Unfortunately the mission incurred to many loses to be called a success with the Fading Lights two sister ships dead she was now the only ship of her kind and future versions of the ship were to be redesigned to be a more contemporary design. The Fading Light was kept in service with Tel in command. She was assigned to help the alliance when the androids finally joined and they fought giving them their outdated and problem ships was a good idea so they could keep their best at home.  [/hider]
