Jar offered Lila one of his gorgeous beaming smiles, and Lila's heart did a little somersault in her chest. “Hurt? Nah, falling is the most fun an angel can have. How else would I have found you? Plus, what we do to each other isn’t really smiled upon by ‘the big guy’.” It was Lila's turn to beam, and she did so with suggestive raised eyebrows. Jar was totally right. Their fights had caused each other so much pain, and they were such freaks in bed they would most likely be sent to hell without a second thought. They must have been thinking along the same lines, because when Jar sat up from the chair, he wiggled his brows suggestively at her. Lila winked at him before laughing a little, leaning forward and locking her eyes onto his. Jar cupped her cheeks in his hands gently and kissed her lips in a way that let her know just how much he'd been wanting to, and Lila responded with the same enthusiasm. When their lips finally separated and Jar opened his eyes, he spoke. “You know, we never did get to dance earlier… how about we brush up on those lessons we took?” Lila squinted a little. Oh, the dreaded dance lessons that had almost been for nothing. They had put so much effort to become the best dancers in their class in order to do a great performance at her parents' Christmas party, but after seeing Jareth, there was nothing that could impress them. She pushed the unwelcome memories to the back of her head; it was better to just focus on her beautiful present. "But baby, there's no music anymore," she told him with a curious expression, to which Jar replied “In my head, there’s always music. Just follow my lead.” Lila stood up and took Jar's hand. "Okay, JarBear. Lead the way." She giggled and smiled wide when he twirled her around and they began to dance barefoot in the cool sand. It was like something out of the cheesiest romantic movie, but Lila was cherishing this moments. A few moments into their dance, Jar asked about Adelisa. "She's doing alright. She actually suggested I come to you, and I thought it was safe to give her some space," Lila wrapped her arms around his neck and looked at him affectionately. "So, now that everything seems to be in order, I think it's time we celebrate our getting back together. How about we finish this dance, enjoy the sunset in each other's arms, take a moonlit walk along the beach and see where the night takes us?" There was a good reason for them to celebrate: their future alongside each other.
