[@Nerevarine] I thought this would be best to be questioned here, but if there are any notes you'd want private, do simply respond in PM. Concerning the Arsuron Pantheon, Assuming the initial traders in Soruli Territory stay as long as needed to allow the Soruli to learn their tongue, the closest the Soruli have to religion would be the beliefs regarding maintaining a spectrum of acceptance/respect for all things and their belief of the Sky-Eyes. Thus here are my questions: + How would you say your traders would convey the ideals to the Soruli or other races they interact with? + Do you forsee any issues with the Soruli beliefs versus the Arsuron? + Would it be seen as a good omen for them to be given 60 of something as it is Fiyam's number?
The traders are sure to mention it in regards to their language, and likely any trader who stayed and lived with the Soruli long enough may even try and synchronize their beliefs (EX: What they did with Kikisk and may do with the Society Deities if they begin to interact more than begrudging trade). At the moment they're more like the Hittites or the Romans in how they react to foreign beliefs, that being they may just incorporate them into their own. The Mathematicists are a bit more intolerant, and as they get more control over the Arsuron, they almost certainly will bring an end to syncretism, and probably increase missionary action to spread "orthodox" mathematicism. As for the traders in your territory, they are from the Lotus Colony, and don't have much of the mathematicists influence. They all know of Kiyam and Kikisk, but only tangently know of Fiyam and his association with 60. The people of Lotus Colony only know 60 as a base, it would be equivalent to one of us being given 10 of something.
