[@RavenTLark] Well, The Collective doesn't know what Carla's powers are yet, so she still has the element of surprise on her side.  The Collective may be swifter than it looks but it is also mentally unstable and doesn't always have the wherewithal to use its full potential.  So it could definitely be caught off guard.
