[@Raindeer] The Society, Population 315, Era of Oxameter the Walker. Technological Developments: Writing 2/8 Organized Religion 2/8 "Tis odd." Spoke the philosopher after the philosopher observed the wolf attempting to eat his fellow comrade. "What a strange reaction! Does it thinks us daft?" The Choirman stared down in silent prayer and spoke "No, tis not. For it appears that a wolf hath forgotten the hymns. They understand us naught. And thus we must remind them!" He went forth and drew pictures using the blood and attempted to draw out the story of The Ashen King.
The two males looked at the drawings with tilted heads, seeming completely lost in what was going on until two creatures that looked vaguely like the Ashen. (Be it bad drawing or evolution changing the Ashen over time.) The two males barked between one another in excitement as they understood. "The Ancestors! They speak of the Ancestors! Show them the carvings! Show them!" The hounds that had circled around quickly ran off towards a large group of trees near the den cluster, the two males pawing at the creature that had carved in the ground and pointed in the direction the other's had ran off too before following them, barking while they ran. The carving was older than any of the Ashen present, or even alive and was a highly detailed depiction of two massive hounds entwined in one another's fur. The tree next to it had a carving of the same two hounds, but with the addition of several small Ashen circling around the ball that was the two massive ones. The third carving depicted the massive ones disappearing to the skies, leaving the smaller ones on the ground.
[@Raindeer] The Trio & The Alpha & The Clan Mates The Alpha leaned into the massage and grooming from the bird, gently scratching the bird's back in an attempt to return the favor. Cor lets out a happy tweet, the danger of these sharp claws that could so easily pierce his flesh treated with subtle caution. His taloned hands move to guide the Alpha's body to lay down as the grooming continued, fingers working at double speed to do what they could. Ima and Mica meanwhile started dividing attention between two of these beasts at a time, slowly making their way through almost a quarter of those present before an almost unconscious decision occurs. The trio begins leading the hounds toward The Home Tree and its ever beating heart of drums.
The Alpha followed the gentle guidance and laid down, allowing further grooming with continued purring. The surrounding hounds that received grooming joined in the purring, slowly forming a choir loud enough to overpower the surrounding sounds of the rainforest. They followed the lead of their newfound friends, the Alpha sticking close behind the bird with black fur, gently brushing his nose against her feathers, taking in her scent.
