Appearance: Occupation: engineer Biography: The beginning of Kellan's life was in an orphanage. The children weren't abused or malnourished, but there was a dreadful shortage of toys. Luckily, the young Jacobs boy found he had a knack for making things. He traded the little knick knacks and deformed dolls for the occasional dollar and whatever snacks the others had set aside for later. Inspired by his success, the boy seeked out the knowledge he'd need to make more things. It was always satisfying to finish something, and trading it for something you wanted, even more so. He sought out books and whatever time he could ge ton a computer researching how electricity worked, how to work with wood, etc. After turning 18, the young man resolved to go to college. He paid for it through government grants and a job fixing electrical appliances. Whilst enrolled, he got an internship helping with the construction of buildings and contract work. He learned quite a bit here, the most important of which was that the engineer is, most of all, someone who finds a solution to problems. Skills: Tinkerer: Tinkering in his spare time trying to make anything useful has given Kellan a unique perspective on how certain objects could be combined. Strong back: Construction isn't an easy job, and to get to the top anywhere, you start at the bottom. Manual labor has made sure his body is in decent shape. problem solver: There's always another possible solution is something Kellan believes, and in his lifespan he's learned to keep track of as much as possible about a situation to try to come up with another, better solution. electrician: Building is just the first part of construction. Engineering requires you know every piece of wire running through your designs and how electricity works.
