[center]Ryan's body reacts as soon as he sees the Caliburn's fire hurdling towards him. Unfortunately, however fast his reflexes are, his synchro rate is not high enough for Macabre to match him. The result is Goodwell's Frame dodging a second too late and the blast ripping the bottom half of the Macabre's left, non-sword, arm off. It isn't the worst thing that could've happened, though, no boosters were lost and he still has Visceral. But Macabre could not wield its pistol anytime soon. 

Ryan quickly recovers from the less than successful dodge and closes the distance between the Macabre and Caliburn. When Ryan arrives at Laura's location a fury of sword slashes meet the opposing Frame's chest. The fury is then finished with a booster assisted knee to the cockpit.[/center]
