If so, I'm annoyed at the implication that Yamatai has Tin's Royal Palace bugged, especially seeing as you didn't even ask me first or tell me what you were planning to do. To avoid having a Sultan assassinated Tin would only allow the highest ranking nobles and bureaucrats onto the palace grounds to begin with, and the guards are elite soldiers that have been indoctrinated into the military since the age of six and raised to be disciplined beyond words. That means almost everybody would be either too rich or too loyal to be easily bribed, so even having a spy in the palace would be something of a stretch. The idea that they can actually listen in on the meeting strikes me as absurd given that this is just one tiny room in a massive palace that's under extremely high security, and on a fortified island to boot.
