I remember just playing roller coaster tycoon and failing every scenario, even forest frontiers since I knew jack all about loans and just blew all my money building a horribly designed wooden roller coaster. I also remember going to some day care where I played with duplo. That it was the year 2000 and the world didn't end. Come to think of it I can't remember a world without computers and am nearing the age of 19. It's kinda freaky that I can't comprehend a computer-less world despite a world without personal computers being the norm just 30 years ago. It just seems like madness to not be able to look up anything you want at any time. That would mean like, reading books or something. It makes me realize how narrow my slice of existence in time is. Cold War seems like the distant past to me, yet my parents grew up in that environment. The war on terror begun when I was five and is pretty much just a fact of life to me that there's been a never ending war in the middle east. Makes me wonder how any children I may have will process a world without augmented reality. I don't think they could.
