[@Argetlam350] Ale went up and paid for both of their, untouched, meals while Aura got to her feet. This made her feel a little bad since, as a Ranger, she'd been taught independence, and now she was letting someone who was just barely not a stranger pay for her food. For now, however, she convinced herself to let him feel like the big shining knight man for now, after all it couldn't hurt. Besides, he was a programmer, if she really needed to lay down the law later she could do it easily. That in mind, she made sure to put her beret back on and followed along behind him, and something finally occurred to her. He hadn't shown any reaction to her unit, so maybe he didn't realize they were an elite unit? All the better she supposed, since that would prevent any undue treatment on account of her skill at killing people. As much as she prided herself in being good at her job, she didn't quite enjoy the particulars. Thankfully, in the National Guard and as a member of the police force, she'd be definitely helping people instead of fighting in a foreign country. These unhelpful thoughts aside, she was glad to walk outside with him, though she wasn't going to hold his hand or do anything sappy yet. This was, well, their first "date" she supposed, but still they didn't know each other well enough to do that kind of couple stuff yet. So, she kept her hands in her pockets as they walked, adding in reply to his comment "Rangers lead the way, after all, and yeah, it really is pretty nice out here. Just got done working out earlier, so I'm glad that it stayed pretty cool outside. Speaking of, c'mon, I'll show you the park." That said, she began to walk with a purpose towards the park she'd left not too long ago. It was only a few blocks down, so the walk wans't far, but she made sure to pace herself. This was less for her benefit, of course, and more for Alekaiser's. Programmers may be intelligent, but it'd be negligent of her to expect the same level of physical fitness from him as the Army gave her.
