Claymoor is pretty much exactly what you said, with the exception that some more mild acids are not too effective on him, due to very unreactive mucus making up the cell suspension liquid. Being an polymorphous shapeshifter has the advantage over other shapeshifters, in that he can take things into his "body" this be used as structural support. Besides Claymoor is actually a really nice guy, and would have no inkling to kill anyone who didn't deserve it, even if he could do that. Actually Claymoor can change the internal pressure of his cells, so he can become about as stiff as the plastic used for disposable cups. Other than that, things that he picks up can be used for its mechanical properties, such as the wires from a lamp, along with the fixture and bulb to make a working (but squishy) lamp. I hope this releaves some of the confusion, sorry I did not explain better.
