Jeremiah’s dilated eyes widened even more as Lou yelled at him. The adrenaline pumping through his veins quickened and his heart pounded, but instead of running, he stood there by the panel. If there was going to be more disruption, he at least had to ensure the ventilation systems wouldn’t breakdown if hit or molested in any way. He bit his lip and shoved his tongue in his cheek as he started to resplice a few of the wires behind each other, creating backup flows in case one were to shut down. He picked up the discarded steel sheet panel that he had ripped off, dug into his suit for nails, and quickly hammered it into patches over the most important coils. With an intoxicated smile he wiped his hands, then quickly turned on his heel. His drugged legs launched him to the vehicle in a second splitting sprint, and with a heave, he slid into his seat, slapping the driver's seat in front of him, “let’s go!”
