There is no need for good without the atrocities of evil. One cannot exist without the other, or so decrees the will of men… Only when these are accepted in balance, will peace truly exist.’ With the death of the Heretic Ramza and the disappearance of the Knights Templar, many of the Kingdom of Ivalice thought that the time for peace had come at last- what with the new coronation of King Delita and Queen Ovelia. Yet this time was short lived, as news of their untimely death at each other’s hand began to circulate amongst the Kindgom. Though lacking their prominent figure heads, the Church of Glabados wasted no time in circumventing the throne’s authority and placing themselves at the mantle. The Age of Heresey had come and gone, now was time for a new age; the Age of Light. This facade continued on for many years, seeing the oppressive powers of the church forced upon the masses. Frequent Inquisitions, mandatory tithes, constant militant occupations, and mass crusades to expand the churches influence across the lands. This continued for many years to come, seeing multiple attempts to overthrow the church squashed, resulting in stricter enforcement of the Churches commandments. It was only with the discovery of the Scriptures of the Germonique- by Arazlam Durai- did the people truly unite against their oppressors and thus a new era of war had begun. Thankfully, the power of the 12 Zodiac Stones seemed to have gone dormant since the ‘Age of Heresy’, leaving the church to combat this rebellion with only the dwindling number of allies they had left after their exposure. However, 5 years after the start of the war- during what was to be known as one of the bloodiest battles of the war- the people of Ivalice saw a terrible rift torn in the sky. This would be the first of many however, as more rifts split the sky on frequent occasions. Though the purpose for the rifts would remain a mystery for many months, a sudden outpouring of devious creatures and soulless puppets flooded the land from these rifts… But as dire as that may have seemed, nothing could’ve prepared the people for a colossal black dragon- adorned with many wings and horns- to emerge from the largest of the rifts and claim dominion over these lands. Grima, the Wings of Despair, the Breath of Ruin, had come to Ivalice… (yes, I know it's inverted >_<)
Ylisse
Having bested the Fell Dragon that once loomed over the land of Ylisse; Chrom, Robin, and all the other Shepards had returned to their homes to live their lives in the new found peace. Chrom quickly takes up the mantle of Exalt, and proceeds to lead his kingdom to a golden age of prosperity and peace. However, since that faithful day Chrom has felt uneasy. Though all of the children of the future had left, he still felt that something was amiss- a sentiment of which Robin echoed. Seeking out the gemstones once more, Chrom and the Shepard’s reawaken Naga in an attempt to have their unease dispelled. “There is a reason why you could not slay Grima, even with my powers. He is mighty as he is cruel, a wicked beast that is a blight upon these lands. However, I was certain that having the one bearing his mark slay him would ultimately end his existence. And so it did... Here.” Was Naga’s reply, only provoking more questions, “When Grima and Robin died, they were truly dead. But the bonds shared by yourselves and Robin brought your friend back to life, but stopped him from ultimately killing the Fell Dragon. The part of Grima that was attached to Robin survived, and saved the Dragon form his fate. He did not have enough power to return to our realm, so he went searching for a new domicile… I wish I could assist you more, but I have no idea where he has gone. I am truly sorry.” With those words, the Shepards found no solace, only more questions to be answered. It was then that Robin devised a plan. What if the mark on his hand could be used to track down Grima? With this idea set in motion, the Shepards began to form a plan on how to once and for all put Grima out of his misery. “I wish I could go with you all. Gods know I’d love to see that bastard put down myself, “ Chrom proclaimed with a heavy heart, “Put the people need their Exalt, especially now that we’ve begun to rebuild. If I can stabilize things here, I’ll be there in but a moment. Until then, just be careful- and come back home in one piece!” So it was decided that Naga would attempt to use the Mark of Grima to transport the Shepards into this unknown realm. Recruiting able bodies and devising strategies, Robin led the volunteers to Naga and thus the ritual to open a rift was performed. As the brave heroes plunged into the rift for the first time, they felt themselves ultimately warped and shifted. Despite their unease, they arrived at their destination otherwise unscathed. But nothing could prepare them for the darkness that now covered this unknown land. Ravaged and ruined by darkness, the warriors fought their way to the closest remains of a settlement in an attempt to establish a foothold. It was within these ruins that they met with a group calling themselves ‘Children of Ivalice’ who had banded together to fight their new oppressor. With their new formed alliance, the Children and Shepards are now poised to strike back at Grima, and see order restored.
Welcome to the cross over RP between the Fire Emblem: Awakening and Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions. As such, you'll be playing a character from one of these two universes, or pulling from another Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy universe at the cost of your memories. As such, we'll go over a few rules.
Rules
1. This is for fun. So don't alienate, ridicule, or insult people based upon their choices or characters. 2. No God modding. 3. If you have a dispute about a ruling or outcome, feel free to post it ooc or pm. But do so in a civilized manner. 4. Neither of these games are overly gory or mature. As such, keep your post within reason with romance and battle. Convert to pms if necessary. 5. One character per player. I'm ok with having support npcs that have no outstanding merit, but the idea is to focus on the heroes. With all that said, let's get to the character creation-
Creating your Character

Name: Race: Gender: Appearance: (Description, Picture, or custom Avatar. Place in hider.) Nation: (Ivalice, Ylisse, Other (from other FF or FE universes, but they will have memory loss due to being out of place and time)) Class: (Most characters are going to be classes from the corresponding games. However, I am alright with cross game classes. So if you want to be someone from the FE universe that went the way of the Dragoon, alright- just explain it in the backstory as to why. Also, if creating a custom class- descirbe it a little) Character Level: 1 (0/100) (it’s a given that your character will start out at this level, but will progress in skills and stats over time) Class Level: 1 (0/100) (How proficient your character is at his trained profession. As your character becomes more adept, you’ll have access to more class skills and new classes.)

Once you have your class picked out/created you’ll have the ability to build your character how you wish! First, pick 3 stats that your class excels in. Next, pick 3 they lack. You’ll start out with 25 points to spend on increasing stats. For every stat your character’s job excels in, add +2 to the stat, and -2 for the skills they lack. Please note, all characters start at 25HP (before traits). This amount increases by 15 for every class level, and 5 for every character level. The amount can be changed by traits, but once again, at GM discretion. STR: 5 (Your character's physical prowess. This will determine how much damage is dealt in melee) MAG: 5 (Your character's magical prowess. This will determine how much damage is dealt when casting or how much is healed when healing) SKL: 5 (How likely your character is to connect with an opponent and the likelihood of critical-hits) SPD: 5 (How many actions your character can take in combat (1 action per 2 points)) LCK: 5 (Lowers the chance of enemy criticals and determines success of non-combat actions(as per gm discretion)) DEF: 5 (Reduces damage from physical attacks) RES: 5 (Reduces damage from magical attacks)

Equipment: Armor: (None, Robes, Light, Medium, Heavy, Custom) This will be what your character has on during times of combat. Though None/Robes provide no real physical protection, they add +5 to the SKL/RES stats respectively, Light offers +2 to Def, Medium offers +5 at the cost of -2 SPD, and Heavy offers +10 at the cost of half SPD. Custom armor can be made, but it must never exceed a +5 bonus on any two skills, and there is no limit on negatives (if you’d like to make this RP harder on your character). Weapon: (None, 1-handed, 2-handed, Ranged, Exotic) (Swords, Axes, Lances, Staves, etc.) This will be your character's armaments they wield in battle (be it a single weapons or multiple). +5 to STR/MAG bonuses will be granted based on class (I.E: Monks with none, Dragoons with Lances, Archers with Bows, and Mages with Tomes/Staves/Rods/Wands), but for the loadout itself, not each individual weapon. For the sake of making sure this isn’t overly complicated, damage will be done via STR at start. As you progress, you’ll obtain items of significant value that will alter stats. But for now, these weapons are mostly for flavor and to allow your own combat style Other: This section is for you to list anything that might be important to your character, or just general supplies. Want to carry a pouch full of potions? How about a Tent? Maybe you have a momento from your family or a trophy you carry around? Keep this reasonable. I don’t want you trying to pass your character off as a walking pharmacy/armory. This is also the section to list any mounts/pets you might have (though I will hardly accept any dragon or other outlandish mounts… Unless you can wow me)

Skills: Now this section is for you to get creative. You can have 2 Traits based on your character, and 2 traits based on your job. These are all custom- but I will be reading over to ensure that there is no broken/op skills. The idea is to create the character you want to play, not steam roll over the villains because of min/max. Quirks: Though a long backstory will explain a lot about your character, certain things will help make people understand more rapidly. While you are free to explain these quirks; remember you need only list what quirks your character has and what they would do. This will affect your bonds with comrades when in combat. (I.E: A studious scholar probably won’t get along with an ignorant fool. Though it can be overcome with time, they will have a hard time bonding) Bonds: This will be something you track overtime with other players. As you progress, if I notice certain characters becoming closer, their bonds will increase and grant them additional bonuses in combat (Sharing each other's strengths). The ratings will be on a D(Annoyed) to S(Romantic/Best). D will have no effect. C-B will grant +1 on whatever your partner's strengths are. A-S will provide +2. Example: Character X’s Bonds Leolycan: B Leolycan2: D LeolycanF: S
Follow the steps in each of the hiders to create a character of your own design. PM or post in OOC your CS, and await my approval. Once that's been done, feel free to post.

Posting
I have no problem with casual interactions or social interactions being fair game, but remember your not the only ones rping here. Give others a time to post their own responses, and don't flood the thread with your own post. In combat, you will create your post and wait for a GM update. Remember, you may only take one action per two points of speed, so keep that in mind when you're posting. Also, if you could include your actions below the post for clarities sake, that would be appreciated Example: (contents of post)
>Leo attacked x target with y weapon >Leo preformed x action >Leo ran towards x target >Leo heals x ally

Leveling
Character Level up: Gain 15 points. All base stats can be increased at the cost of 1 point. 5 points can be spent to learn new Unique trait (Gm descretion) Job Level up: Gain new Job Trait (or trade for 5 more points) Once you're job level hits 5, you can advance to a more advanced version of your class. You can switch to simple classes (Squire, Archer, Black/White Mage, Warrior, Mercenary, etc.) at almost any time out of combat, but only if you have trained as that class before. To learn a new base class, you must have trained with one of that class to learn it's abilities. (Traits are determined by yourself, but must make sense with the class) Other than that, welcome one and all!
