Those are the two biggest duties that we have, but we can't take point away from other prefects, no matter how much we might want to. There was a smarmy little bloke from Ravenclaw who graduated last year who would pick on the first years and deduct points from them if they couldn't answer his questions correctly. I got him back for picking on them though, and I wish I could have seen his face when he found out I'd charmed all of his knickers to turn pink as soon as he put them on. [/color] "

Elijah looked fondly back on the memory of performing that charm, and the head of his house had scolded him before promptly bursting into laughter and giving him a pat on the back. She had been as upset about the situation as Eli was, and applauded him for not taking a more drastic approach. He had wanted to take things further, but even he knew that some things were pushing it to far and he didn't want to lose his prefect badge.
