Following the fact that the old thread was severely outdated and cluttered, we've decided to compose a new thread for common suggestions and planned features and so forth.

This thread will cover those, so that we do not see a flood of the same suggestions over and over again. Please check this thread before you add new ideas.

 If you have additions to the list, throw 'em in a reply and it can be edited in as time passes. At the start, the list will be fairly sparse, so bear with us and help us include things.
