Well, without the birthmarks. Name: Li (this was the name he was given when he was taken captive - he does not remember his real name) Age: 18 Appearance: Li is a very tall (6'3, easily towering over all of the royalty) thin, wiry man with caramel coloured skin, jet black hair (which falls straight yet messy past his ears when not tied back), and odd, almost golden eyes. He has several birthmarks, patches of pigment-lacking skin. These occur in spastic speckles in random places on his body, with a few large spots. These spots are on his left hip (spanning from his pelvis around his side to the small of his back) and on the right side of his neck/face (starting below the collarbone and working its way up the neck and ending on the jaw). His face resembles someone of mixed but predominantly middle-eastern descent. Li also has numerous scars. These occur in great number on his (mostly upper) back and shoulders, with a few on his chest and arms. He covers these with his uniform of course, but one scar cannot be covered. It is an outward-downward slash through his left eyebrow, beginning above the start of his eyebrow and ending slightly below his eye on his cheekbone. The injury very narrowly missed the outside of his left eye, luckily leaving the eye intact. Li wears a (comparatively) simple palace servant's uniform consisting of a (prepare for me to butcher clothing names) long blue kimono-like shirt with silver trim, dark grey pants and simple leather sandals (these are meant to help him move quietly, so he will not disturb his masters or their guests). As he is often in direct view of Princess Cho, his garments are to be kept pristine and made from silks with intricate patterns on them, images such as waves and flowers associated with the extravagant royal family. His hair is worn in a tight bun on the top/back of his head. This is actually a rather new development, as before he was assigned as Princess Cho's personal houseboy he worked in the bowels of the palace, where little more than rags were needed for daily work and no one of any importance had to see them. Bio: Li does not remember much about his life before his servitude. He's been told by older slaves that his home was a thriving exotic paradise with vibrant colours and rich culture. He's heard stories about how it felt like summer every day and never rained, where the plants never wilted and the food never spoiled. However, all he's ever consciously known was the palace and the immediate area around it, with the country's temperate weather and strict customs. He was taken around the age of five or six, and believes himself to have been here for twelve or thirteen years. His original name, language and family are strangers to him. He was captured in what he's been told was an invasion, part of a Great War which ended soon after. He and many others were taken prisoner and sold into slavery, many to the palace. They gave him whatever job he could do, for there was always work to be done, even with a staff of hundreds. Punishment for disobeying orders, slacking off, or anything else the keepers disliked was severe. Li has gotten rather used to this life by now, but of course he longs for more.
Hey look at that, a 3:22 am cS! Let's see how many glaring errors I can find in the morning!
