The Most Holy Empire of the Genteli, or the MHEG What do they value?: The MHEG values purity and being devout to the cause above all else. In their mind they are a holy crusade sent to spread enlightenment to all corners of the Andromeda galaxy, and they will not fail their mission sent by God. Even if it means crushing heathens who oppose their zeal. What do they despise?: Those who do not follow the one true faith, or more specifically those who actively work to oppose it. Many citizens are not the ‘saints’ they are painted to be and so accept that not everyone in the galaxy will follow their faith. What kind of state are they?: The MHEG is a Military Theocracy. The Most Holy Divine is the supreme leader of the MHEP however he continues to reside on Earth and so this expedition is led by the Most Holy Knight Lord Commander who has complete impunity when making commands. What is their population?: The MHEG is made up of genetically ‘pure’ humans who have arrived on the expedition. The Truth (That is the name of the faith followed.) teaches that people should not alter themselves and that true change can only be achieved through determination and hard work. As such humans are conceived totally naturally and body alteration is never heard of within the MHRG. However body armour and exo-suits are readily used, so bionics are readily develop so long as they have no lasting effect on the genotype or phenotype of the person. How many 'people' do they have, if applicable?: There are roughly 27,500 citizens of a working age, not including those younger than the age of 10 and those older than 65. In total there are around 32,000 people in total. How much infrastructure have they set up?: The MHEG was very late to arriving in the Andromeda galaxy, as such planetary infrastructure is developing quickly whilst space infrastructure is only very basic and isn’t being readily developed as of yet. A single hive city of high reaching skyscrapers has been built on the centre of largest continent. From there large estates and more cultural diversions are being constructed to help support the growing population and rebuild holy sites for worship. In space there is only a small space port built out of the shell of the MHEG Mothership that has been retrofitted to provide a location to build small transports and a place to load, and unload cargo. The station has been put into orbit so that it sits permanently above the centre of the capital hive city. How much technology have they already salvaged or developed?: As relative new comers to the galaxy no technology has been developed in the time spent rebuilding. In regards to salvage, some technology was salvaged from the damaged files and items from the capital ship. As such the MHRG has no access to a physically functioning FTL drive, though the plans and technology to build one is available. And instead is using currently advanced technology to speed up the process of rebuilding. Who leads them?: The Most Holy Knight Lord Commander Antonius Genteli. (All leaders must take the Republic name however it is not their true family name.) What sort of bloke is s/he/it?: A bear of a man who is the veteran of many campaigns. He has dealt with traditional war as well as putting down rebels and ‘non believers’. At the same time he comes from a family of governors, and has some experience in running such a large group of people. However the man is a diehard traditionalist and so many of the more liberal leaders are worried his zeal will falter interstellar relations, if any are forged. How does s/he/it actually command?: Knight Lord Commander Antonius What does s/he/it have to deal with to do stuff?: Whilst still small and effective, as the system grows it becomes more and more tied up in bureaucratic red tape and difficulties in inter-department actions. Furthermore the Mothership came through very damaged and so much time that could be spent advancing, is simply spent catching up. Also the MHEG is quite militaristic in itself and so a lot of resources are also put into rebuilding a fighting force, rather than the infrastructure.

What was it's name?: The Most Holy Vessel, Odyssey. What type of ship was it (aside from being a colony ship)?: Like all Empire ships of a vast scale, it was a converted Battleship. Whilst many weapons were left in place, a lot more gun batteries, shield systems and armour plating was removed to make room for a vast amount of cargo and people. What defended it?: Whilst many of the defence systems had been removed, many vital ones were left in place and it was through that, and some sheer luck, that the ship stayed in one piece after transit. How advanced was it?: Average 23rd century technology. Whilst not the most advanced ship available, it was also not lacking in technology. Do you think it should still have more to salvage from it?: No physical salvage is left at all as the ship is now the small space port, however large data servers brought on the trip were left slightly damaged and corrupted, meaning there should still be a fair amount of files that could be recovered once the servers, now in the capitol city, have been repaired. How long do you reckon it should theoretically take to get it running again, after acquiring all of the relevant technologies?: The capital ship will no longer be used again, however once a better designed space port is constructed, the shell may be salvaged to aid in further construction.

What type of planet did they land on?: A jungle planet, with small interweaving seas that appear to look like huge rivers from space, separating large continents. Aside from the "Star name: Number" designation, does it have a special name?: It is know by the HREG as Beacon. Do you think it should have the remnants of any previous inhabitants?: There is a lot of fauna and feral wildlife o the planet that the Empire has systematically been destroying to create the perfect canvas to build the planet for every function they need it for. Do you think it should've been already inhabited, and your Nation had to waste resources invading it?: Whilst not inhabited by an equally sentient species, resources are being wasted on destroying the current species that are present. What sort of atmosphere does it have?: An atmosphere that has slightly less oxygen than Earth, since a lot of the fauna does not in fact go through photosynthesis. As such people outside of city limits or estates wear breathers. How many continents?:3 How big is it?: Roughly 1.5 times the size of earth. How bountiful do you think it should be, in terms of biomass and materials?: Very bountiful, the destroyed wildlife and fauna is all deconstructed in such a way that it can be used to expand the Empire. Does it have any unusual materials or minerals in its' surface?: Not enough expeditions have been undertaken to find this. Does it have any other unusual features?: No

What sort of vessel is it?: It is a space station. What sorta guns, if any?: There is a few operational rail gun batteries and point to point laser defence batteries. What sorta defenses?: See above? Hangers?: It has 3 medium sized construction pads and then 6 hanger bays for smaller craft. How big is it?: Around 5km in length and the same in width. What's it look like?: Like a giant metal plate that then has a number of crevices and and a few pads of smooth metal. Also a number of jutting out cabins and living space. What sort of engines, 'real' and FTL?: The Station has no FTL engines and only basic thrusters to make slight adjustments too it’s orbit. There is one large Thruster that is mainly non-operational but could be brought online if all other systems were disabled, such as if the Station begun to fall towards the planet and it would be better to simply lose it, rather than let it fall onto the planet.
