The Ferream joyfully screamed grabbing Marsh's immediate attention. They all looked down at the creatures watching them from a short distance. "Indeed, O children of Khorne and Tzeentch! Never have I seen such a sight! Quick! Bring the sacrifices." The Ferream choirmen brought out two Illis and laid them on their knees. Mr. Marsh than signaled for his companions to bow down and they did so. "From Tzeentch came Oxameter" They prayed while Marsh led. "And with him came time. From Tzeentch came Khorne, and with him came death to Oxameter." After this, three Ferream marched by behind the Illis after removing their masks and held a sharp stone to their throats. "Strike at a whim my friends, and reveal their blood!" Marsh spoke with joy. The Ferream pressed the stones against the Illis's throats and swiftly pulled to the left quickly spilling blood across the grass. "Glory! Glory to us and the gods! A gift bestowed to an Ashen Wolf!" [/quote] The two stared at the group that stood before them making loud sounds. The hounds patiently sat and watched them make odd sounds. "Maybe this is how they howl?" Said the Leif. "Odd way of howling... But maybe..." Said Borje. The two answered the creature's howls with their own, the hounds behind them joining in a unit howl in an attempt to answer the creatures. Two strange beings with round heads were brought towards them, with three of the wood-tasting ones standing behind them. They removed the heads of the new creatures only to reveal... A second head? The hounds' howl slowly faded out as the two-headed creatures were killed before them in a similar fashion of the wood-creature before. One more the brothers moved forward. They dug their fangs into the beings flesh and were prepared to once more taste wood, but gave up a pleased bark when it turned out to be actual flesh. The rest of the group came forward and dug into the corpses alongside the brothers. Leif's hunger was quickly overcome by his curiosity as he found one of the second heads and gently prodded it with one of his tails. It was hard as rock. Was it a shell? He sniffed it and pawed at it, finding that it did not try to strike back. He stuck his head inside of it and found that it was empty of anything, no trace of flesh or insides of a living being. He took a few steps back and looked up at the creatures, then pawed at the ground as he carved a copy of the second-head into it.
