Aria felt Alister's arms tighten around her and it sent shudders down her spine. She had never been this close to someone before him and he just seemed to get closer and closer to her. There were tales of vampires and human relationships from a long time ago. They often said that you couldn't get much closer to a vampire. If he or she fed from you and let you live, then you were something special. Was that what Aria was to Alister? Was she special to him? They hadn't known each other very long. But that wasn't to say Alister hadn't picked her out some time ago, just waiting for the right moment to get to her alone. She let out a slight gasp as he whispered into her ear. She wasn't expecting it. She tightened her arms around him, she couldn't possibly get him any closer at this moment. His touch, smell, breath on her neck. She couldn't seem to get enough of it. It sent her body into over drive, she tingled everywhere. She never wanted to be away from him. How has he done this? Was this some kind of vampire magic? Could they just do this sort of thing to humans? Or was it just him as a person that made her feel like this? She smiled and whispered back. "You have nothing to thank me for."
