As Eli explained his plan, Joseph slowly got excited, although he didn't show it. He loved taking the dangerous missions, as he loved the danger of it. He didn't know why, and he knew he was most likely throwing away his life for a temporary rush, but inside he thought it was worth it. He'd never tell anyone, of course, so he would just brush it off as him being the swiftest of their group. He loved the rush, but this was a bit different, this would be the most dangerous mission he'd been on thusfar, as the area was crawling with zombies.
