[@Aweirdgamer]: The tech advance by post system works because it encourages people to be active. You post less frequently, you advance slower. Those with the greatest amount invested in the RP's story naturally become those who most influence its events. I'm very flexible on how you guys choose to approach time, but my position on tech is immutable, even though it's hurting me pretty badly at the moment.

I feel like an organized time system will work once we approach medieval-ish technology.
