Not entirely sure if this is the right place to say it, but whatever. Just thought I'd pop in to say I'm designing some new Battlegrounds, an area which seems to be lagging behind in terms of development in the wake of all the other forum updates. I have not settled on the final number, but I will be making anywhere between three and six new battlegrounds. All of them will be multi-variant and dynamic in nature, with specifically tailored/partitioned sections. Each once should be able to be used for one-on-one matches, team battles, free-for-alls, and more. Additionally, all of them will feature fully destructible environments (no arbitrarily indestructible setpieces) and consistent, non-linear topography (no arbitrary invisible walls). One or two will also feature scientifically accurate non-euclidean geometry (because if there's something everyone wants in their fight clubs, its loads of tedious scientifically accurate physics). Each one will support standard Arena slugging matches, but will also have variant sets that will allow for battles of a different sort, particular in regards to fighters with drastically different approaches or whose matchup creates a vast power imbalance. More to come. Thanks to [@GrievousKhan] for explaining internal arena mechanics to me.
