"Sir Vauch." called out a loud voice. Turning his head, Cleo saw it was none other than the king Lionsfury. Immediately, he got down on one knee, bowing the well respected king."Sir!" He said loudly and clearly.

"Everything is in order? I take it you are adjusting well to your newfound duties and responsibilities?" The king asked him. He didn't stand up, not knowing if now was the appropriate moment to do so.
"Yes sir! Everything is quiet in the halls, and the responsibilities and duties give me the great opportunity to better myself and my skill." He said. He didn't want to tell the king that he was greatly bored with the whole 'keeping watch' thing, and didn't know that the king had saw him acting the way he did.
"May I ask, my king, what you are doing up? Its quite late, and a person like you should get your rest, correct?" He asked him, keeping his head lowered in reverence to him.
