Oh, awkward. 
I can defer to Noel, though, 'cause that would be way funnier in my opinion. Observe: 

Noel - Undesiring, candy-addicted Demon Lord who just wants a peaceful life (I think?) 
Pico - Over-the-top Underling who joins for candy-related purposes 
David - Pico's bodyguard who probably ends up making sure that she doesn't go overboard/get killed doing something crazy (currently seeming like the only sane, non-candy obsessed part of the equation) 

I dunno, but I already see a lot of amusing things happening there.
