Is it feasible to make it so that notifications created in edited posts... notify?
Example 1:
User A wants to notify users B through F.
User A composes post, but accidentally misspells user D's name, causing notifications to break.
User A edits the post upon discovering the error, but the notification isn't sent because its not a new post.

Example 2:
User A wants to notify users B through F.
User A composes post, but accidentally forgets to add user F to it.
User A edits the post upon discovering the error, but the notification isn't sent because its not a new post.
