Not at all, it's not everyday you see a hitman, intercity-ninja with a passion for vengeance roaming from one building to the next in the black night and even less so to have him be greeted amiably - by anyone, really. The side effects were something that escaped my mind as well and I can easily make amends to him in general most definitely (or make a new character entirely if that's the case, it did not take me very long).
