Professor Cedar walked off, not hearing the boy. Alex and Layla laughed when she was gone.

The sun had been revealed from the clouds, shining brilliantly through the double glass doors, illuminating the whole first floor. That also meant that the sun room was in perfect condition to let the Budew run free in. Layla left the two to talk while she went to the sun room to let the Budew out, and absorb the sun.

Although, if the boy he was talking to right now decided not to travel with him, he would prefer to travel alone, rather than with the girl in the poofy dress. He could imagine her getting stuck in all the doorways in Fordis.
